ALLE The estate grounds at night are eerily quiet, like the whole place is holding its breath. I move through the darkness, following paths I barely know, letting instinct guide me more than any real sense of direction. Part of me worries I might be completely lost, wandering into some part of the property where I'll freeze to death and they'll find my body in the morning. That would be a stupid way to die after everything. But I keep walking anyway. I pass the training grounds, empty and ghostly in the moonlight. The dirt is still torn up from yesterday's drills, weapons racks standing like silent sentinels. The tree line looms ahead, dark and uninviting. I can see the greenhouse complexes in the distance, massive glass structures that catch the moonlight and throw it back in frac
