In the meeting room, CEO Briella Tristan stood before her staff and executives.
“Thirty-year-old Chairman M, currently the Chairman of Nvidia Corporation in the United States, will be transferring here to our London branch. Apart from being known as Chairman M, no one knows his full name or what he looks like. Tomorrow, at 10 p.m., there will be a welcoming party in our company’s event hall.
The U.S. headquarters has also provided us with some important details about him.”
She turned toward the screen as the information appeared. Pens and keyboards clicked as employees began taking notes.

“That will be all. I’ll see you all tomorrow at the welcoming party,” Briella concluded before leaving the room.
The moment she exited, whispers filled the air.
“What? At only thirty, he has all these qualifications? And he’s not just the Chairman—he owns the company now?” one worker said in disbelief.
“Bet it’s only because his dad owns the company,” another muttered.
“He probably doesn’t even have those qualifications. Honestly, I could be better than him,” one boasted.
A female staff member scoffed. “Jokes on you. Our CEO is just twenty-eight and nearly has the same qualifications. So pipe down.” She turned sharply and left.
Another voice followed. “And I heard he’s cold, mean, and scary. You all might want to watch your mouths before you regret it.”
“She’s right…” someone murmured. The chatter continued, fueling curiosity about the mysterious Chairman M.

Briella’s Residence
Same day, 10:30 p.m.
Briella sat on her bed with a sigh, fresh from her shower. On her nightstand stood a photo frame of three smiling faces: Genevieve, Marcellus, and herself. The picture, taken twelve years ago at a park, captured them running freely, laughter frozen in time.
A small smile curved her lips, though tears welled in her eyes. She gently set the frame aside and slipped into a black hoodie and shorts. At first, she thought of taking a walk, but remembering the busy day ahead, she decided against it.
Instead, she gathered her books, iPad, and laptop, carrying them out to the balcony. There, under the night sky, she worked tirelessly, planning every detail to ensure tomorrow’s event was flawless.

Nvidia Corporation Event Hall
Sunday evening, 9:30 p.m.
The hall buzzed with life. Shareholders mingled with executives, guests from other companies arrived, and trays of food and drinks circulated as laughter and chatter filled the air.
Twenty-five minutes later, a cheerful man stepped onto the stage.
“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!” he announced. “Let’s all take our seats. Our CEO will now introduce the Chairman we’ve all been waiting for!”
The crowd erupted into applause. All eyes turned to the main doors.
The moment they opened, silence fell.
Briella walked in. Gasps rippled through the hall.
She wore a sleek, black, fishtail gown that hugged her figure flawlessly. Crimson lipstick highlighted her elegant smile, while red crystal heels and a matching handbag completed the look. Her loose hair cascaded over her shoulders like silk.
She moved with poise, her steps graceful, her presence magnetic. For a moment, time itself seemed to pause.
“Okay, I’ve seen beautiful women before, but this…” one woman whispered to her friend, unable to finish.
“…is magic,” her friend completed breathlessly. “She can’t be real.”
Briella stepped up to the microphone, her elegant smile steady though her heart raced beneath her gown.
“Good evening, employees of Nvidia Corporation and honored guests. Thank you all for being here tonight. As you know, this is a very important day for our company…”
Her speech carried on for several minutes, highlighting the significance of the event, the achievements of the corporation, and the promise of a bright future under new leadership.
Finally, she raised her voice, her words echoing across the hall.
“And now, it is my honor to welcome our long-awaited Chairman M!”
Applause thundered through the room as every eye turned toward the grand double doors.
The doors swung open.
Gasps filled the air. Eyes widened. Jaws dropped. For a heartbeat, silence claimed the hall—so heavy, not even a whisper dared to cut through it.
“Were new people created today?” one stunned guest muttered, unable to believe what they were seeing.
There, framed in the doorway, stood the man they had all been waiting for. His presence was commanding, his aura cold yet magnetic.
Briella’s breath caught in her throat. Her hand trembled slightly on the microphone.
“Chairman… Marcellus Cedric,” she finally managed to say, her voice barely above a whisper.
The hall erupted in shock, but for Briella, time stood still.
