CHAPTER 100 Xavier was again at his usual spot in the restaurant with one hand stroking his chin, intently watching the people who entered and exited the restaurant. An untouched glass of beer next to a plate of beefsteak was placed on the table, and he absentmindedly fingered the fork on his plate. When his expected visitor finally walked through the doors, he sighed with anticipation and took a sip of his beer. The man swept his eyes across the restaurant, as if searching for someone, so Xavier raised his glass above his head to get his attention.
