"Sorry I'm early." I announce when I walk in.
He's sitting at his desk eating what looks like Chinese food. He looks up at me and finishes his bite before sitting straight up. "By 15 minutes."
"Yeah."
"Our session is only 30 minutes long since it's the first one."
I roll my eyes and sit in the seat across from him. "Okay then I'll pay extra."
"I'm eating lunch."
"Hayes, you're a smart man. Let me know if I look like I care." I answer.
He laughs softly and closes up the takeout box, putting it to the side. "Elliot is going to cut me if I don't eat after giving him so much s**t about it, but I guess it can wait. Why are you so early? Were you nervous about it?"
