It was a mystery that almost a lot of people in the dream world—especially in the dream kingdom—didn’t notice. And it could be of three different facts’ either they don’t know about it, they are aware but they chose to ignore it or they found it not a threat to them.   The first being the most common.   It was not known for a lot of dreamlords about it. The moment they do, they hesitate to believe it because not many of them thought about it.   And that was where the problem arose. They weren’t aware although pieces of evidence were there, served in the table. The more Peter thought about it, the more theories his mind would generate him. One terrible idea most made sense to him, though, but he still wanted to gather more evidence—in his memories—that he thought would support his theory.   “Are you okay?” Dora asked Peter, which brought him back to reality. “You’re dazing,” she added. “Did something happen in your dream?”   Peter picked the fork that had fallen in his plate and smiled at her, shaking his head as he scooped a spoonful of food. “Nothing,” he said. “How long did I sleep?” he asked her.   He just woke up from his dream earlier. He thought he should wake up quickly after hearing the things the librarian said, to gather his thoughts about it. It’s either he was believing in a rumor or he was believing in something that was actually big.   She hummed. “About four hours? More than three hours, I think?” she said. “I didn’t wake you up and waited for you to wake up before I cooked dinner. Did I wake you up when I entered your house?”   Peter shook his head with a small smile, chewing his food. “Nah. Thanks, by the way. I was thinking of buying pizza for dinner.”   Dorothy looked at him as he grimaced. “Why would you eat pizza for dinner when you just bought a bunch of ingredients that would last a week?” she asked. “Are you planning to keep your stuff in the fridge for display?”   Peter chuckled at his girlfriend’s remark. “Of course, not. I’m just thinking I don’t have time to cook,” he smiled and reached to put his hand on top of hers. “Thanks for cooking for me, by the way.”   Peter continued with his thought, trying to not look distracted as he was listening to Dora’s random blabber at the same time.   This was what the terrible idea or should he call theory about the dream kingdom and the super lord of dreams.   One, the identity of the superlord of dreams is hidden. He had never seen the superlord of dreams. He had no idea what he looked like nor what creature he was. Wiboe and other superior goblins and creatures worked for him. He had no idea how powerful he was, but he knew that it was enough to make the dream kingdom work and function as it would always be.   “Have you met the superlord of dreams?” Peter suddenly asked, interrupting his blabber about her dream of opening a dog shop.   Dora paused to think. “Nope. I never wondered about dream space nor reached the dream kingdom. The dream goblin who made me become a dreamlord was the one who delivered me a message that I am a dreamlord,” she said and looked at Peter. “Why?”   Peter chuckled and shook his head. Just as he thought. Why would the superlord of dreams’ identity be hidden? If few knew about his identity, why had no one ever talked about him? It was just suspicious.   Two, the superlord of dreams could be the one who created the octopus monsters, that’s why they were difficult to kill or beat. Worst-case scenario, the dreams these giant octopus monster absorb were absorbed by the superlord as well, and that’s where he probably got his power.   Three, the whole dream kingdom might be the superlord’s domain. He could control what was in that kingdom and he had control over those who were there. The dream goblins, dreamlords, the creatures, the slaves.   Which was scary the more Peter thought of it because it meant that the superlord of dreams could have access to feeding into the dreamlords’ powers. The reason why dream goblins were asked to recruit more dreamlords was probably because of it’ so the superlord of the dream could use them in the future. Or maybe the dreams that would happen in the dream space if it could be considered. The disappeared dreamlords may not be a mystery but just an undiscovered case of power abuse.   He thought, that the superlord of dreams was the one behind the disappearance of the dreamlords. Either the superlord of dreams would eat the dreamlords like a monster, or he would eat the power of the dreamlords. Either way, the superlord of dreams could already be considered as a monster.   Thinking this was just possibilities and theory if they were true, he thought that this was a serious matter.   “I’m going to Bianca’s tonight for a slumber party. I’ll be back tomorrow,” Dora said as he was fixing her hair in the reflection of her phone. Peter was scrolling on his phone as if finding something.   “Sure, babe. Take care,” he looked up at him and smiled. Dorothy nodded and walked to him to kiss him.   “Are you looking for something?” Dorothy asked because she saw him scrolling through search results.   Peter looked at his phone then back at Dorothy. “Do you know any site or app or forum where dreamlords are?” he asked and just noticed the impossibility of his question. “There’s nothing like that, right?” he chuckled.   “Interesting,” Dora smiled. “I was scrolling through the internet the other day, I found this group chats on a messaging app, the group chat is named dreamlords,” she said. “Check that. There are around 30+ members there, last time I checked. I never tried joining, though. There’s also a password,” she said.   Peter’s face lit up. He pulled her close to him for another kiss. “You’re the best,” he said.   Dora grinned and left. “I’ll be back tomorrow,” she repeated.   Peter searched through the messaging app and found one group chat there, just as what Dorothy said. There were currently forty members in the group chat. He tapped the group chat and a prompt pop-up box opened, asking for a password.   The hint to the password was, “The number on the tower of dream kingdom.”   He had never thought of it. He never paid attention to it. He tried to recall his memories, but he found it hard, so he decided to sleep quickly and visit the dream kingdom.   When he arrived at the dream kingdom, the two giant stone monsters were on the gates, looking at him weirdly. They probably thought that it was weird he was there again. He ignored them and went inside the kingdom.   As he was on his way, he bumped into someone. The person was holding into a box filled with orbs with different glittering colors, some of them had fallen and rolled away. “Oops, sorry!” peter said and picked some up, casually looking up to see the man. “Are you hurt?”   The man was just looking at him with a small smile. “I’m fine,” he said.   Peter continued to pick the orbs and then gave it to the person. “I apologize. I’m not looking on my way,” he said and looked over to the box. “I’ve never seen those before,” he said.   The man smiled at him and chuckled. “They are...” the man paused as if to think of better words. “They are special orbs that will replace some people,” he said. It sounded a lie to Peter but he just nodded. “I’m not really sure,” the man said and smiled at him, more like forcefully. “I should keep going,” he said.   Peter nodded and stepped aside. “Yeah, sure. I’m sorry again,” he said and watched the man leave.   He was wearing casual clothes, but there was something about his conversation with him that he found strange. Peter shrugged as he thought it was just awkward.   He then went to the tallest tower and saw the numbers there but they were written in the Orrinatta language.   He nodded and remembered the numbers before he woke up. He jolted from the couch and took his phone to enter the password quickly. He typed, 4912.   He entered the password and he successfully entered the group chat. He never even realized there were numbers on the tower. He didn’t know that small details would be helpful.   peterpeter has joined the group, it said there when he successfully joined the group. Messages started to come in when he joined.   Vince_22: woah, another dreamlord   betty_poop: welcome :)   may__: hi   paulFinds: Yo, wazzup   The messages went on until the username with a familiar name came in.   edwardHoffman1: Peter Cohen?   Peter quickly typed in a reply and out of curiosity, he decided to check the names of the members there.   He just then realized that Edward and the four others he met in the library were also members of the group chat.
