And It Sparks……

In the next few days, the agonizing memories of Hibito’s disaster start to fade but the future of Hibito and its victims still rests on a slippery ground. Nothing can snatch the right to make sorrowful memories from the residents. Nothing can extenuate the blatant and ineffable impact. An inexorable disquietude, a constant fear remains nerved and hard-wired. Amidst of this, two restless souls concede, accept the reality. More sorted, Daniel and Dylan have been bestowed with stiffness and stability. Bearing a palliated sense of revenge, they become lesser and lesser malicious towards the criminals. With each passing day, their conscience develops more and more. They learn to make expletives to themselves- Not letting hopes die. They become teachers to each other. Feet decked with a fine pair of obsidian rainboots, Dylan is seen standing upright in the hue of a long-standing Prune tree. Dylan covets for the brightness and beauty of every extant pink petal in the lifeless orchard, situated in a close proximity to the throng. He wants to recreate the Cherry Blossom Air within his heart. Physically, he knows that the trees don’t bear flowers after a long duration of gales. Swathed with a diaphanous rain coat, Dylan looked perfect. His male face, with a hidden effeminacy was bejewelled with messy hair, strewn fringes. Gazing at the light drizzle, he learns to feel Daniel’s presence, searching for a missing succour. The two were too involved with their lives, they didn’t even bother to learn each other’s names. {c***k of polyester, People resting higgledy-piggledy on the floor doing their chores.} “Have you seen a young guy, somewhat of my height, slim physique, fair and fine-looking.”, asks Dylan in a state of rustling emotions from a stout old man sitting on a tawdry stool. “Name?”, the man enquires. “I… (his voice wavers) I…(chokes) I don’t know.”, sighs Dylan with the heftiest heart. He gets restless and anxious. Troubled and impatient at the abrupt loss of a property, he never really owned, a fitful Dylan staggers apprehensively towards the exit portal of the camp. Dylan became quite possessive after all that he had suffered. The superficial confiscation of Daniel for a negligible amount of time quavers Dylan to depth. He stumbles. The sun sets. “Don’t go out. Don’t abscond from here. Everyone, lend me your befriended ears for the next whole hour.”- That’s what Dylan could hear indistinctly within the clamour of a multitude of people. Dylan’s feet come at a standstill. A strong wind forces Dylan to turn. With tears of hope, Dylan grasps the waves of the mouthorgan, being played gorgeously by a silhouette, sitting at a careful vantage corner of the camp. A fervent anxiety unravels in Dylan. He feels his feet being pushed by the wind. Time stops. It is Daniel. The outline of Daniel gets vivid as Dylan realizes his love for Daniel. With a gleaming face, a dash of brightness, Daniel feels immobility, an insensibility around the very geometric distance connecting the two loci. A mystical s****l tension emerges. The rain strives to hurl Dylan towards miracle, towards happiness, towards hope, towards Daniel. Pre-planned by destiny! Daniel rests his music but the music just doesn’t sojourn. The divine, heavenly music of love gravitates Dylan towards Daniel. Daniel grips Dylan. He inches towards the earlobes of Dylan, sexually charged. The warm breaths of Daniel blow Dylan’s skin hair as they encircle each other. As Daniel moves his lips, running towards Dylan’s lips, Dylan whispers, asseverates with moistened eyes, empathetically, “THANK YOU FOR STAYING!” Daniel softly says with his upper lip touching the upper lip of Dylan, “Yeah! Forgive me if it hurts.” Both gets teary. The cuddle ignores the presence of people in the room. Perceiving the sultry and soulful whiff of Daniel’s breath, Dylan is soul-kissed. And all pain halts. After all that has happened, voids are filled. Regaining wisdom, Dylan loses the snuggle and pecks Daniel. “Never say Goodbye.”, sighs Dylan. Daniel grins to express an agreement. Daniel is touched. {Both leave to listen the evening radio broadcast to learn updates of Hibito.}
