Clyde began his existence as a rugged-duty industrial equipment cart, which the team heavily modified. He had oversized pneumatic tires, which were about ten inches in diameter. The cart was four feet wide and five feet long and stood just over three feet tall. There was a flat surface on top. A metal box was sitting in the center of the surface, taking up most of it.
