Tom could feel the color drain out of his face when Paul made his suggestion. For several moments he sat there staring at the mischievous grin on his friend’s face. This was the most absurd thing he’d ever heard.
After getting over the initial shock, he began to feel a little excited about the proposal as he started thinking about it.
Not only was this an opportunity to see Christ in person, but it was the opportunity to prove to millions that Christ was the true Son of God.
Tom had often fantasized about meeting the Lord. Now there was the opportunity actually to go back and see him in person. It seemed ridiculous and fantastic all at the same time.
