The 64-year-old woman slept peacefully in the queen-sized bed that she shared with no one. She lived alone and had done so since her husband passed away years before. The alarm in her phone sounded, ripping her from her peaceful slumber. Reaching over, she silenced it, then lay back down and closed her eyes for another minute. Then she threw off the covers and sat on the side of the bed and, as she had begun doing recently, wondered why she was still getting up like this each day. She had enough money in the bank, and her retirement accounts were healthy enough to retire now, and she knew it would be time soon.
