Tom and Linda followed Andrea to the Neuro-Surgical waiting area and checked in with the female attendant. Tom provided their contact information, and she assured them that if she got any information, she’d pass it along. Otherwise, the surgical resident would meet with them after the surgery. They estimated they’d finish in the operating room in about four hours, but the timing could change as things developed.
The attendant provided directions to the cafeteria and informed them that if they were planning to go, they should do it sooner rather than closer to the expected time the surgery would be completed.
