Athena’s back collides with my chest and I grip onto her hips to steady her.
“Wow.” She mutters in awe.
Everyone branches off and begins to explore the space. Naturally I’m drawn to the kitchen area and search through the pantry. I pull out a packet of chips and shove a handful into my mouth.
“Seriously? Don’t you check expiry dates? Who knows how long this stuff has been down here?” Apollo scolds me.
“Hey if I’m going to die today, let it be by light and tangy chips.” I shove in a second handful and offer him the packet. He rolls his eyes and takes one like a savage. Who only eats one chip?
“It’s like someone built a second underground pack house down here.” Eliza calls out from another room then appears in the kitchen a second later.
