I was in the middle of a meeting when I felt the worst pain I had ever felt. It felt like my heart was ripping out of my chest, and then a deep sense of sorrow overwhelmed me.
I had to immediately sit down, and my Beta, Lane, rushed to my side.
"Boss, you alright?" he asked. I shook my head and told him something had happened to one of my brothers, but which one was uncertain.
"It's a quad, or multiple things I guess. It happens all the time. Especially if they are hurt. One of them has definitely been hurt, or rejected. That I'm for certain. I know when I was rejected, they all felt it. So maybe that's it. Let's just continue," I said.
