TRIGGER WARNING...Talk of SA
My mother's dinner went well. I learned a lot about Gretchen, just like I wanted, but also learned how their bond got to be so close. Needless to say, I have a lot of mixed emotions.
*Flashback*
We arrived at my parents' home, and while we waited for Finn and Damian, I helped my mother finish dinner. We talked casually, but I could feel her anxiety. Another one of those lovely powers I have. No matter who it is, I can feel their emotions just as if they were my own. Luke called it being an empath.
My dad sat at the dinner table playing with Fawn, and I had to admire how he was with her. She turned the big ol' wolf/vampire hybrid alpha into a little puppy.
