The oceanfront deli is finished! I can now hire someone to take care of it for me, and then set the date for the grand opening. Reba's place is about to be the hottest mom-and-pop eatery in Astoria. I can't wait.
As far as the store in Portland, I wasn't happy when I walked in. The shelving behind the bar that had a mirror background was gone, and an ornate raven had taken its place with black shelves on each side. Under the shelving was purple lighting.
I mean it looked beautiful, but definitely not what I wanted. I wasn't sure if I wanted him to change it or not, but when he brought out the sign that was to go above the raven, I had a change of heart. It made a world of difference.
