New Year’s Eve 2014 Age: 18 “Are you going to tell him?” Mum asked as we entered the function room. The room looked the same every single year, but it held so many memories. Once again, the nostalgia and familiarity brought comfort, rather than the dread it used to fill me with. “Yeah, of course I am,” I replied, a little irritable at my mum’s constant questioning, as this wasn't the first time she had quizzed me about this.
