Chapter 1

"Gu Seung Jun!"

Seo Dan immediately ran towards Seung Jun who was shot many times to save her from being abducted.

In his mind, he said,

"I was wrong.

When I die,

there is someone who cries for me.

The fact that you are that person,

makes me sad and happy."

Seo Dan catched him while he coughed blood.

"Seung Jun stay with me," Dan pleaded as she sees that Seung Jun is catching his breath.

"Don't worry. I'm okay," he replied despite the pain. Dan is crying already because of his situation.

"No. Gu Seung-jun! Gu Seung-jun!" Seo Dan immediately called for help. An ambulance came immediately and took him to the hospital.

They are on their way to the hospital and the doctor is doing his best to make him survive. Dan kept on talking to him to keep him awake. She is sobbing and trying to be strong for his man.

"Seung Jun-ah, are you okay? Stay with me. Look at me. Look straight at me."

"You told me....that when you're doing better....And if I'm still single....You were asking for a chance.... I was going to give you a chance.....I was going to wait for you until you visit me....I was going to wait for you...." She said through sobs.

Then she remembered what he said.

"I like you Dan. Because I like you, I will keep in mind where I am going. I will live that way. I will do that from now on."

"I was happy.... Hearing that... Made me happy..."

A loud beeping sound woke Seung Jun. He banged his hand towards the alarm clock. He dreamed about that again. About when he almost died. Yes, he is alive. He was brought to the hospital and is fighting for his life. The doctors did their best to save him and they succeeded. When he woke up, he was alone in his hospital room. He wasn't supposed to be discharged yet but he escaped and bought a plane ticket to Europe. He escaped without telling Dan. He escaped leaving the love of his life. He groaned remembering again those moments that made him feel alive again. But his goal now is to make his life be better so that soon he would come back to Dan and fulfill his promise to her.

"I should come back to her when the flowers bloom."
