Fairy Visits Pt .1

        Chase ran back to where Derrick was. I shifted back and so did he. “Well… no one hit each other, but he didn’t look happy.” Derrick said. I sighed, “He wasn’t. He doesn’t seem to like me. He knows I’m married. He also knows why I’m married, and for some reason still hates me. He admitted he gave Sophia the intel about her Gamma, but he seemed surprised; if not upset that she didn’t give me my annulment because of that. He is also blackmailing me.” Derrick growled, “How?” I sighed, “He said if I tell Lexi we met, he will tell her I’m married. I don’t want him to think he can just blackmail me; however, Lexi doesn’t want to know I’m married. How do I respect her wishes here? If I tell her about this; then she will find out I’m married and be hurt. I don’t want anyone to tell her about Sophia but me. On the other hand, if I don’t tell her about this the Hood believes I can be manipulated. Which just gets Bolt’s and my blood pumping.” Bolt was growling in my head. Derrick said, “I mean…. you have a rock, a hard place, and your nuts are between them man. I don’t think you can tell her about this meeting. Unless Lexi could keep it to herself that you told her?” I thought about it. She wouldn’t. She’d be pissed at her brother and have every right to be. She’d go charging into the shroud, and rip Heath a new one. Heath knew it too. Which is why he used my marriage as a blackmail tool.

            “She’d go rip the Hood a new one for this, and he knew it.” I growled in frustration. Derrick sighed, “We all knew the Hood was a smart man. It makes sense he’d use your marriage for your compliance.” I said, “Yes, we did.” Derrick said, “We need to get back. Matt is driving me crazy, linking me every few minutes.” I laughed. We both shifted and ran back to the house. Matt was waiting outside. We shifted and grabbed some shorts. I saw my dad standing at the entrance of Isaac’s door. His concern was evident. I couldn’t be bothered to care about his feelings right now. I went to my office. Matt slammed the door shut, “So?” I repeated the conversation to him. Matt whistled, “Your nuts are getting squeezed in all directions.” I said, “Thank you for that astute observation. Derrick made it as well.” Matt said, “Did you know Lexi and Ted have an event this weekend for the vampire King?” I shook my head, “No, but I’m proud of her.” Matt said, “Ted has pointed out…. He will be left alone because he’s marked. Lexi will not be.” I growled, “Then I’ll just make sure she’s covered in my scent. That should give some of them pause. Lexi can handle the rest, and I’ll try not to kill them later.” Matt winced, “If you could not start a war with the vampires that would be great…. We did just end a war with them.” I said, “A very short one.” Matt said, “Still a war. Ted and Lexi and going out for drinks after work.” I smiled, “We could join them.” Matt frowned, “Haley is tagging along with them.” I said, “Well, then we can all go to dinner when they come back into our territory.” Matt winced and grabbed his head. 

            Derrick and I were both concerned, “Matt?” Matt looked up, “Ted just put together what your situation was. He was too distraught at his Beta Male announcement to realize you discussed being married. He’s raging pissed. He’s going into Mark and Jenna’s office to call me.” Matt’s phone rang. He put it on speaker and answered, “HE’S MARRIED?! WHAT THE f**k MATT? LEXI CAN’T HANDLE THAT!” I said, “Which is why she doesn't know. At her request.” Ted hissed, “She’s talking about MARRYING you! I know YOU don’t know what a big deal that is for her. BUT I DO! You’ll crush her. I swear I’m going to march back into that b***h’s territory WITH the fairy princess and kick her ass all the way to TEXAS! NO! Mexico WITHOUT her passport. She’ll be locked in some Mexican jail, and she won’t be able to come back. OHHH I WILL GET HER!” Matt said, “Ted… babe…” Ted said, “Oh no! Don’t you BABE me! TELL ME Haley has taken this b***h to task.” I said, “She did. Haley is trying to be nice.” Ted said, “f**k BEING NICE!” I said, “Her version of nice was to make her grow a beard, throw her into a wall, insult her, and have vines wrap around her hands holding her in place.” Ted was quiet for a moment, “And that’s why you just have to love her. You don’t understand…. If Lexi’s brother finds out there’s roadblock to her happiness…. he’ll kill your stupid wife.” I said, “He already knows.” Ted said, “Oh… well then sorry not sorry about your widower status.” I said, “He told me to get my annulment. To keep Lexi safe and happy. If I tell Lexi we spoke, then he’s going to tell her I’m married.”

            Derrick linked me, “Ummm…. LEXI’S BROTHER IS THE HOOD?” I said, “Yes. Do not tell anyone.” Derrick linked, “Holy fuck.” I said, “I know.” Ted shouted, “Is it f*****g opposite day?! WHY THE f**k ISN’T HEATH KILLING THIS b***h?!” I said, “Your shroud is in her territory. She has no successor to take over for her at this point. Alpha Hammond is eyeing her area. I’m sure others are as well. I’m sure the hood wants the territory where your home resides to be stable.” Ted said, “Sure, if he was being logical. Lexi’s brother is FAR from logical about her, and he’s lethal. In case you missed the whole trying to put her on lockdown until Halloween s**t, he tried to pull. Does no one remember that? That’s his level of chill about Lexi! Something DOES NOT add up here. I smell something fishy. Very fishy.” I said, “I don’t want Sophia, Ted. I want you to know that. I love Lexi. I want her. I’m trying to handle this. Once I do, I’ll tell Lexi everything.” Ted said, “Chase…. I’m not kidding. Lexi is as tough as they come, but you being married. It WILL destroy her.” I growled, “I’m trying to fix it. I HAVE been trying to fix it. Sophia’s f*****g former gamma f****d us all.” Ted said, “So kill him.” I said, “We need information from him.” Ted said, “FINE! Get your information and RIP HIS HEART OUT! I’ve seen you all do that; you know! Let me talk to him. People tell me things.” Matt said, “It’s not a bad idea.” Derrick snorted, “It’s brilliant. Give him food. Ted can take it to Wyatt.” I said, “We will have Wyatt back next week. Ted can talk to him then.” Ted said, “As long as there’s a freaking plan! I’m calling Haley. She will rant with me about this colossal f*****g PILE OF s**t!” I said, “Haley told Sophia she’d wipe her pack out if Lexi wanted. She said that she’d kick her ass if Lexi shed any tears over this.” Ted said, “f**k YES! I LOVE HER! I just do. I’ll shoot some motherfuckers if I have to. It’s all I’ve got. I’m a decent shot. Tate though…. Tate.” Ted started laughing, “You tell your wife to watch out. If Lexi gets hurt. I’m deploying Haley AND Tate. My brother takes after my father. He’s VERY good at what he does.” Ted hung up.

            Matt sighed, “Oh good. A pissed off hood member and a fairy princess. What could go wrong?” Derrick said, “Maybe something will finally go right.” I sighed, “Maybe I just take Lexi back to Europe.” Matt said, “We all know you can’t. Lexi has her business, and you just cemented yourself as our Alpha by fighting for your title.” I said, “Sometimes Matt…. I don’t like you.” Matt said, “You love me, always.” I rolled my eyes. “Maybe we can get this solved If Wyatt tells Ted something; Sophia will sign the papers if we get her answers.” Matt said, “Sophia is depressed according to Beta Alfred.” I said, “Oh for crying out loud. Why?” Matt shrugged, “Claims he doesn’t know.” I said, “I get the sense that you don’t believe him.” Matt said, “I do not. He’s lying. He knows what’s wrong with her.” I sighed. I called Sophia. “Chase.” f**k. Her voice sounded sad, “What’s wrong Sophia?” Sophia said, “Nothing.” I said, “Then tell your voice that.” Sophia said, “It doesn’t concern you.” I said, “Technically since you’re my wife, it does.” Sophia snapped, “I said I’m fine Chase. I’m your wife in name only.” I snorted, “You know I have dated my fair share of women. Fine NEVER means fine.” Sophia said, “Leave it Chase. I’m using my mood to talk to Wyatt later. I’m not nice today.” Derrick linked me, “Today? She’s been a b***h for going on nine months now.” I rolled my eyes. “Call if you need to talk.” Sophia said, “Fine.” She hung up.

            Matt said, “Yeesh. Two Fine’s. She’s got a bug up her ass.” I shrugged, “Maybe her wolf is fed up. Haley did point out they were meant for this. If I was hiding behind others… Bolt would be pissed. Maybe her wolf didn’t realize it until Haley threw it in her face. Sophia’s wolf would've been wounded by Wyatt’s betrayal too. Her wolf would’ve liked his just as Bolt likes Derrick’s wolf and your wolf Matt.” Matt shrugged, “We don’t have time for her problems. Ted may not look like it or act like it, but he’s still Hood. He’s very adept at planning things. I would be surprised if he’s not already putting together a plan for Tate and his friends to do something if Lexi gets hurt.” I sighed, “Can’t bring myself to care. He does have a point about Lexi’s brother. He has not been rational about her.” Matt said, “Yes, but his lieutenant’s job is the same as mine. I’m sure Isaiah has convinced him that it’s not a good idea to push the territory their home lives into chaos. Right now, Lexi is not hurt by this information because she doesn’t have it. People are working to fix the issue at hand. I would keep you from killing anyone in that situation. How did the Hood find out you were her string?” I snorted, “He’s known the whole time. He was there when we met.” Matt gaped, “Maybe that’s why he doesn’t like you. She didn’t bring you home? You did protect her that day.” I snorted, “I’m leaning towards that’s why he hasn’t punched me in the face just yet.” Matt smiled, “That would be one HELL of a fight.” I said, “That I don’t plan on having. Let’s get to work.” 

            We started on our paperwork. We were getting a lot done until Matt got a text from Ted. He snorted, “You and Alpha Conners are going to s**t bricks.” I growled, “What now?” My phone dinged. Lexi had sent me a picture. I dropped the phone, “WHERE does she get these outfits?” Lexi was in all black except her white top. It was practically lingerie. Lingerie I wanted to rip off her this very second if she was here. Matt chuckled, “See?” Derrick said, “See what?” Matt showed him his phone. Derrick whistled, “Alpha Conners…. will rip someone’s eyes out. That little princess is a brave fairy.” Matt snorted, “Alpha Conners would give her whatever she wanted. She wasn’t raised in this realm, or around wolves. She doesn’t understand how we are. Beta Caleb told me they used to argue about her outfits before she was taken. Now, Alpha Conners just rips them off her later. Ever since she was kidnapped. He does whatever he can to make his fairy happy.” Derrick said, “Wouldn’t you? Alpha Conners Gamma is not NEARLY as forthcoming as his Beta. Probably because he just got back from searching for his mate.” I nodded, “That’s right. Gamma Marshall spent the last six months looking for his mate. Did he find her?” Derrick nodded, “At his last stop in London. Ironically the girl is from Louisiana. She was on vacation with her family. She’s back with him at their cottage in the Conners territory now. He’s still getting back into the swing of things at work. He was shell shocked to meet the princess. He was so heads down he hadn’t bothered to keep up with the gossip. He had NO CLUE Alpha Conners had found his mate or had kids. Nor did he know she was a fairy. He’s so unhelpful right now.” I laughed, “He’ll catch back up.” 

            Derrick said, “He’s just grateful that their packs have enough support Alpha Conners was able to let him take six months leave to search for his mate. He was growing restless without his.” I shrugged, “They have four other Gamma’s and Beta’s coming out their ass with how they run their pack. Together but separate. Makes those things possible.” Matt said, “You know… we could adopt how they run things with Cameron. Build new pack houses and a main house. We could have them, Reagan and Cameron, back and it would stabilize their territory.” I loved the idea. I missed my little brother. “I’d have to ask Cameron. How the Conners run their pack isn’t done outside their pack for a reason. I would love that though, but Cameron just struck out on his own. He might not like me being the head of the pack’s technically while him being the Alpha of his own.” Matt said, “It would take a while to get all that done anyway.” I nodded, “I’ll bring it up with him” Both Matt and I’s phone dinged. I groaned. Matt laughed, “Derrick, be glad Sally isn’t back yet.” Derrick growled, “Why?” I said, “They have turned this into dancing at a club. They are going to eat dinner, keep drinking, and then go dancing.” I texted Lexi letting her know that outfit was going to be destroyed. We texted for a bit before she told me anticipation was good for me. No… not today it wasn’t I was already amped up. She had no idea what was coming for her. Derrick said, “I plan to take Sally to the club Chase owns when she gets home. Dinner and Dancing.” I said, “Still have to confirm she’s yours.” Derrick growled, “She IS mine.” I rolled my eyes. Matt started to laugh. I said, “What?” Matt said, “I texted Beta Caleb asking if he knew the plan for dancing at a club. Beta Caleb found out they are going to Alpha Conners club across the street. Alpha Conners broke… a lot of s**t in their war room.” 

            Derrick and I looked at each other confused, “Why?” Matt said, “Because Beta Caleb asked me to ask Ted if Haley could dance.” Derrick snorted, “All fairies can dance...ohh….” I started laughing, “What did Ted say?” Matt said, “Ted said Haley could dance her ass off BEFORE she’d had s*x. She’s never been to a club in THIS realm though. The Hackura have clubs in their realm, but everyone knows not to touch her there. One of her brothers would always go with her and Lexi, Ted on occasion too. He said and I quote her brother would murderously glare at anyone who thought of coming up to their group. Haley doesn’t understand that here...men approach women on the dance floor.” I said, “In an establishment owned by Alpha Conners? That would be suicide.” Matt shrugged, “Ted says she’s that good at dancing someone might consider it. He doesn’t seem to think its suicide. Thinks they would get punched.” I said, “No… Alpha Conners would torture someone within an inch of their life. Being approached or touched would make the Princess uncomfortable. I read your memo from Beta Dylan. Haley doesn’t like to be touched by men.” Matt wiped a fake tear away, “You read a memo I put together. I’m so happy.” I rolled my eyes, “For that alone Alpha Conners would kill them. If she was truly upset…. He’d torture them for days before ending them. Does no one remember who the man is?” Matt said, “Everyone knows who he is. You know he’ll be there too.” I snorted, “If he’s not already there I turn into a monkey on the full moons.” We all laughed. I texted Lexi. I stiffened when she said even though she had been drinking she wanted to s*x later. f**k! I was so close to going over the border and bringing her home. My phone beeped again. She’d taken a picture of her boobs. I growled.

            I didn’t really even process that I was calling her as I did it. She answered with a teasing tone saying Haley was in the bathroom, so our time was short. I growled trying to convey to her that today was not the day to tease me. I was seriously considering running to her and claiming her on a damn table she was sitting at. Not giving a f**k who saw us. She simply giggled and asked me to promise her. I was so hard, nothing but being buried inside her was going to give me relief. She hung up on me because Haley was coming back. Kevin linked me, “Thankfully… we are the only werewolves here at the moment. Jim and Nick JUST walked in as you hung up. They are hanging back out of sight. The girls haven’t seen them. Alpha Conners has to be around.” I linked back, “He’ll be at the club. Probably with his brothers.” Kincade linked, “Alpha Conners is here. The Princess feels him near.” I settled a little bit. Kincade linked, “Luna Molly is here.” I laughed, “Matt, your sister joined the party.” Matt nodded, “Ted linked me. Said Haley popped away and popped back with Molly. I actually need to get over there and meet my new nephew and niece. My mother will probably kick my ass if she finds out I haven’t met them yet.” I smiled, “I’m glad Molly is able to have more pups. I know she always wanted a big family.” Matt growled, “I can’t believe we didn’t a f*****g warlock did that to her.” I said, “Haley took care of it.” Matt still growled, “Fucker should’ve suffered. He hurt my big sister.” I said, “I believe I heard Prince Bjourn had him for a time before Prince Marcus came in and finished him off. I think you rest assured…. The man suffered.” 

            Kevin linked, “They are heading to the club.” I was surprised then looked at the time. This had made time pass quickly. “I’m going to the border. The second Lexi comes across it; she’s mine.” Matt sighed, “Come on Derrick. We need to go make sure in his… current state he doesn’t just go across and claim her.” We all shifted going to our border. We shifted and grabbed some shorts. We sat in the forest but had a clear view of our border. Kevin linked me, “The Luna and the Fairy Princess have a song.” I linked, “What’s the song?” Kevin said, “Talk dirty to me.” I groaned. Matt laughed and turned his phone around. Ted had sent a video of Lexi and Haley dancing. “f**k! They can BOTH dance.” Kincade said, “It’s going to quickly become a lady’s night in this club. Practically all the men are being bounced. Anyone who looks at their group is gone… and everyone is looking.” I said, “Don’t get bounced.” Kincade laughed, “We are with Nick and Jim. They know we are assigned guards. Joanie is on the dance floor within reach of them blending in.” Matt said, “There’s a vampire in the club. f**k Five vampires. Call Alpha Conners.” I quickly pulled out my phone, “Alpha Chase. I am a bit busy.” I said, “Our Beta Male just informed my Beta there are five vampires in your club. It’s my understanding he’s there with your mate. Given that she’s a fairy, I had to call you right away.” Alpha Conners said, “f**k! HOW THE f**k DID THE DOORMEN LET THEM IN?!” Alpha Jackson sighed, “Serious oversight.” I heard the door slam. Alpha Jackson groaned, “Thank you Alpha Chase. There will be no vampires here shortly.” I hung up. Matt said, “Thank god I found Ted. You’d have to explain to Alpha Conners how we knew that. Also why we cared.” I shrugged, “We’d figure it out.” Kevin linked me, “We briefly had a vampire problem. Nick said you called Alpha Conners about.” I said, “I did.” Kincade linked, “The fairy princess might be the most obviously fairy out there to her allure… Like of all time. If he wasn’t so vicious...I’d feel sorry for Alpha Conners.”

            I laughed out loud. Matt said, “What?” I answered, “Kincade is conflicted on feeling sorry for Alpha Conners. He says Haley is oblivious to her allure or dancing skills.” Matt said, “Ted agrees. He says Haley has never seen that people are attracted to her. The Hackura males stayed away from her because of her brothers and her father. Her family would have ripped anyone apart who set her back while she was there. No one wanted to rock that boat.” Matt stiffened, “I think I’ll get myself to the club. Be another set of eyes. I said, “What happened?” Matt said, “Someone is offering to have s*x with Haley.” I gaped, “Well…. that’s a dead werewolf. It’s no one from our pack is it?” Matt said, “I’ll go find out. Hopefully not. Maybe it’s one of Sophia’s problems and then one of our problems vanish.” I snorted, “We aren’t that lucky.” Kevin linked me, “There’s a wolf here with a death wish. He’s told the princess she’s dancing like she wants s*x, and he offered to do it with her. He said she was too young to be married when she told him she’d be with her husband tonight. This guy is so dead. Alpha Conners fired the bouncer. He’s having him sent to the dungeons for letting vampires in while the Princess was here. Mind you that was after he broke his nose, jaw, and hands.” I winced. I got it though. He was sensitive where vampires came into play. I asked, “What about the vampires themselves?” Kevin said, “The one that tried to eat her was sent with several warriors to King Arthur…. With no arms or fangs.” I said, “Derrick, “Why don’t you head home? Matt’s there I’ll be fine now.” Derrick nodded, “I kind of want to go too.” I laughed, “Go on.” He took off for the club. I was sure he’d blend into the background with the guards. 

            Matt said, “Good lord Almighty.” I said, “What?” Matt said, “I just caught the tail end of what became of the werewolf, from Alpha Raven’s pack by the way. Apparently, he only got to die after thirty minutes of torture because Alpha Conners promised Haley he’d dance with her.  He is so damn hot.” I said, “You have a mate.” Matt replied, “Who I love deeply. That does not mean I lost my eyes. Alpha Conners is still hot. The things he does for those he loves…. makes him hotter. Derrick just got here. I’m going to catch him up then go inside.” I was closing my eyes trying to keep myself rooting to the spot I was in. I was horny and angry. I was angry I couldn’t show up and dance with Lexi. I was angry that my dad made me fight him today. I was angry at Sophia for the thousandth time for us still being married. I was angry at Heath for using the perfect blackmail to keep me quiet.
