Boo Pt. 1

        When Lexi came to, she sat straight up. I looked around. We were in Haley’s room in the castle in the Hackura realm. Haley smiled at me then said, “What the hell b***h?” I laughed, “Can we go back now? I owe some demons an ass kicking.” Haley laughed, “Their asses were f*****g kicked. They are already dead. Eric linked me the good news. It took a little longer to heal you than it normally would have. There was some kind of a poison on the bullets you were shot with. Had you not come to me…. f**k it you did come to me. Let’s not think about it.” I sighed, “That doesn’t make sense. Noah doesn’t want me dead.” Haley sighed, “As much as I LOATHE the f*****g troll. You’re right. I don’t think whoever sent these guys...was the troll. I think it’s someone else.” I laughed, “Well Damn. Guess I’m not going to win the Hood popularity contest. Oh well.” Haley frowned, “You need to figure out who it is. They started out protecting you.” I said, “What?” Haley said, “First the leak hid that you killed the demon we ended together. My brothers were given the wrong leak. They took the fall guy. The real person was protecting you. Something changed.” I sighed, “Great.” I was anxious to get back to Chase. “Let’s get back to our realm.” Haley smiled, “Oh… there’s someone here who said we couldn’t go yet.” I frowned, “Who?” The door burst open. I smiled and squealed, “SALLY!” I ran and gave her a hug. She hugged me back. Two Hackura men walked in behind her with two trays of food. She smiled at me “You two can’t leave until you eat all your food. Haley, your mom wanted to see you.” Haley sighed and popped away.

            As soon as the Hackura men left Sally rounded on me. She put her hands on her hips, “Haley is VERY good about keeping people with their mates/strings when injured. Why isn’t your wolf here?” I sighed, “Haley doesn’t know about him.” Sally’s jaw dropped, “You’re keeping it that big of a secret?” I said, “Haley knows who he is. She just doesn’t know that we’ve met. My wolf has a situation in his life I don’t want to know about that she's trying to fix.” Sally frowned, “That sounds like it’s going to bite you in butt, Lex.” I said, “Haley won’t care.” Sally said, “Not her. The situation your string has going on.” I shrugged, “I just can’t handle knowing. I’m really happy with him.” Sally nodded and sat on the bed with me. She bumped my shoulder with her, “I heard you wanted me checked on…. Did you have the dream about Noah and your cabin too? Where he killed me?” My jaw dropped, “YOU HAD IT TOO?” Sally nodded, “The war goddess came to me afterwards Lex… ME! The war goddess. I’m still in awe about it. I haven't told anyone because no one here would understand. You though….” I was stunned, “That’s...amazing! What did she say?” Sally smiled, “She’s so beautiful Lex! She showed me what my life with Noah was supposed to be like. She wanted to apologize. She said he was taken off his path.” I said, “By whom?” Sally shrugged, “Said she couldn’t say, just that it’s one of her children. Our kids were cute. We were everything I wanted us to be.” She wiped a tear away. She shook herself, “Then she showed me my path if I accept my second chance string. I couldn’t see his face, but our kids were even cuter than mine and Noah’s. My second chance string…. I heard his voice Lex...He loves me like I always wanted. We have four kids, and I was pregnant with the fifth. Our life together…. I want it so bad.” 

            I took her hand, “You did accept him in our dream though.” Sally wiped her tears, “I did but I waited too long for him to mark me. The war goddess told me that dream would come true if I didn’t accept my second chance string in time. She said your path could be different. You might not be in the cabin when I die, but my fate is determined if I drag my feet.” I shook my head, “No… Chase and I talked. You’ll have more guards, and Haley put extra protections around our houses. You can wait until you’re ready.” Sally smiled, “After the visions she showed me…. I might just jump the man the second I see him.” I laughed, “Who could blame you? I have an idea of who it is.” Sally smiled, “I want to be surprised.” I nodded, “Fair enough. So did I.” Sally said, “I don’t think this is over for you by a long shot Lexi.” I said, “Neither do I. I’ve got a family I didn’t know about maybe…” Sally said, “WHAT?!” I nodded, “I might have family out there. Heath is going to see if he can find them so they can explain what the HELL they’ve been doing this whole damn time.” Sally frowned, “They should be ashamed of themselves if that’s true. They left you guys all alone.” I nodded needing a subject change. I asked, “Are you really ok with getting a second chance string?” Sally smiled, “I feel like I already know him now that I’ve seen our path. I’m glad the war goddess wasn’t playing some cruel trick having me be Noah’s original string. I’m just ready for the next chapter. I know for you I haven't been here that long, but for me… I’ve had time. I’m not ready to come home yet, but I will be soon. When I return…. when I met my second chance string...I’m going to accept him with open arms. I want our life and our kids. I want that crazy kind of love I’ve always dreamed about. I REFUSE to be murdered at the hands of my mentally unstable first string.” I said, “Good for you.”

            Haley popped back. “Yeesh. You shield someone from getting shot one time, and everyone has to yell at you for it.” I winced, “You took a shot for me? I just saw a wolf shredding his clothes and jumping over us. Who was that?” Haley smiled, “It was Eric. I took a bullet for Emmaline. My mom and I hadn’t discussed my getting shot yet. She didn’t appreciate my comment that she should f*****g keep up. That was so many problems ago. We’ve all moved the f**k on. Apparently, she had NOT moved the f**k on. What are we eating?” I scarfed down my food. Haley laughed and did the same. Sally winked at me. I said, “Let’s get back to my house. I need to shower, I’m a mess.” Haley smiled and snapped me clean and into yoga pants and a hoodie. I wanted Chase’s hoodie. I said, “I still want a shower.” Haley said, “Are you sure? We could spend the night here, or at my house. Eric would be cool with it.” I laughed, “The man who seemingly every night f***s you senseless... would be cool with us having a sleepover?” Haley said, “He would. He might be testy about his f*****g blue balls… Most absurd saying ever…” I laughed and so did Sally. “But he’d be fine. He’d understand. You’re family to me. I want to be there for you.” Damn. Sally shot me a look. She didn’t need to. I felt bad enough, but I knew Haley wouldn’t care that I hadn’t told her I’d already met Chase. I knew when this all broke out, she’d understand. I said, “You are family to me too. You’re my little sister. I just want to sleep in my bed.” Haley said, “I could stay there too. That would just get Eric ALL kinds of riled up.” I laughed, “You go have your bunny sex.” Haley nodded.

            Then she laughed, “He fought tonight. It’s going to be crazy like really f*****g crazy animalistic s*x tonight. Not bunny s*x because he’s a wolf. He gets all growly and authoritative. OHHHH we will play catch the fairy.” Sally laughed. I said, “That’s just so you.” Haley wiggled her eyebrows, “Oh… you get an Alpha wolf who just fought then you tease him… They seem to think what happens when they catch you is a punishment. I’ve been punished before let me tell you; t is FAR less orgasmic and satisfying.” I couldn’t stop my laugh. I also made a mental note to try that someday with Chase. Haley said, “Alright. Let’s get back to your place…” She trailed off as a portal opened. Damn. Heath stepped through the portal in his hood gear. Bjourn was behind him. Heath ran to me and picked me up. Bjourn said, “Your wolf is not happy he could not come with us little sister.” Haley said, “Oh goodie…. He’s already riled up for our game.” Bjourn snorted. Heath said, “I was so scared Lex.” I said, “I’m fine.” Heath pulled back and inspected me. He turned to Haley, “Thank you.” Haley said, “No need to thank me.” Heath sighed, “I need to get back and start looking for a different leak. Noah is obsessed with taking you, now they are trying to kill you.” I said, “Haley and I came to the same conclusion.” Heath said, “I’m not discounting this could be Noah, Lex. He’s crazy. He’s been rejected, rightfully so in my opinion, by his string. We ALL know the war goddess won’t give him another one. He’s going to be crazy. He could’ve lost all reason.” I said, “I don’t think it’s him.” Haley said, “You know I despise the f*****g troll Heath, but I agree. This isn’t him.” Heath said, “It could still be him I just need to make sure. I don’t want to write anyone off.” I nodded, “I love you Heath.” Heath had tears in his eyes, “I love you so much Lex.” He hugged me tight, “Don’t leave me little sister.” I said, “I won’t. I’ll be around to bother you for quite some time.” Heath laughed and wiped a tear. “Alright Bjourn. Let’s head back.” Bjourn nodded, “For future reference. I ONLY did this because I would need to see Haley in your situation. I’m not your personal portal opener.” Heath said, “Duly noted. The future king of the Hackura is not my personal portal opener. I will have to rearrange all my plans around.”

            Bjourn opened a portal and they stepped through. Haley said, “We should go before another portal opens and Ted comes through.” I laughed, “He’s probably waiting at my house.” She grabbed my hands and we popped into pandemonium. Haley laughed, “Witch Bitches FINALLY get their comeuppance. You thought you could best ME? You are so f*****g dead witch bitches.” I gaped as I looked around. Matt and Ted were here, and … Frank? Why was Frank here? He was the first to speak as I assume everyone else was speechless from the scene of witches in various states of being on fire. All of their hair was on fire. Two were caught in booby traps and one was being electrocuted at the barrier of my home. Frank said, “Lexi… are you alright?” I glanced over at Haley. She didn’t notice Frank because she was taking some warriors of Chase’s to task over custody of the witches. I said, “I’m fine Frank, Thank you.” He nodded and Ted hugged me. Frank stepped back behind a tree so Haley couldn’t see him. Ted said, “I’m so glad you’re alright.” Haley yelled, “f**k NO! You can’t have them… they are MINE! I’m the one who stopped them with my fairy f*****g hijinks! Did you pull fairy f*****g hijinks? NO! MINE! MY WITCH BITCHES TO TORTURE!” One warrior poured water on one of the witches’ heads. Haley said, “That won’t f*****g work! I’M THE ONLY ONE who can put their hair out. It will burn FOREVER if I so desire.” Ted and I both laughed. That was… so Haley. Matt said, “Is that how they were marked? Your alarm system is intense Haley.” Haley said, “Yes, a witch’s hair on fire is quite the mark, right? I’d obviously know they tried to f*****g get around my barriers. It can’t easily be confused with something else.” Matt snorted, “No… no it couldn’t be. You can take the witches with you.” Haley smiled, “I knew I f*****g liked you Matt.” Haley gathered up the witches. She turned to me and gave me a hug. “Feel free to flash to me with Demons on your tail anytime.” I smiled, “Thanks for healing me, and having my back.” Haley said, “Always b***h!” With that she popped away. 

            Frank asked, “Are you really ok, Lexi? Chase was…. very upset.” I said, “Thank you for your concern, but I really am fine.” Frank was about to say something when I was grabbed from behind. Chase had me in his arms. I turned and put my arms around him. Everything felt right again. I’d missed him. He told me not to do that to him again. I reminded him I couldn’t help where Haley popped to. Chase put his lips on mine. When we pulled apart everyone was gone. He led me upstairs and turned on my shower. Was he reading my mind? How did he know I wanted a shower? Then I realized he probably wanted one himself. I quickly took off my clothes. Luckily for me because Chase pulled me into the shower with him. I don’t think it would’ve mattered to him if I had clothes on.  Chase was so worried about me, and he just wanted to hold me. I knew that had to be hard for him. Alpha wolves liked their reports immediately. They always wanted answers. This really must have shaken him. I looked up at him and told him I didn’t think the leak was Noah anymore. Chase looked at me in shock. After several moments he finally asked me, “What? Why?” I grabbed my soap and cleaned myself off. Chase did the same. I grabbed us towels and stepped out. I picked up his hoodie off the floor. He smiled as I put it on. I stated, “They are trying to kill me now Chase.” He growled, “WHAT?” I said, “They shot at me. Haley said there was poison in my system from the bullets. OH GOD! Kevin and Kincade! They didn’t get hit, did they? I can call Haley back…” Chase cut me off, “They are fine. They didn't get hurt. They are a little upset you took off without them.” I sighed in relief, “I knew the demons were after me. I was leading them away from them.” 

            Chase growled, “Why didn’t you come to me?” I raised an eyebrow, “Last I knew, you were near your house. You know...where your little sister lives. I wasn’t leading demons to you or your sister.” Chase growled again but tilted his head acknowledging I had a point. I said, “I was hurt too, and I needed Haley.” He nodded, “They are really trying to kill you. Are you still going on a mission on Halloween?” I nodded. He sighed, “Please… take Kincade and Kevin with you.” I said, “I can’t. I would if I could. They are going with you right?” Chase sighed, “Yes.” I said, “Oh.... did that Alfred guy get hit?” Chase growled and tackled me onto the bed, “You’re mine!” I was shocked, “I know…” Chase kissed me possessively. Somehow… I’d triggered that response. Not sure how, but I was here for it. I was already wet, and Chase hadn’t put pants on from the shower. I arched my back. Chase placed the tip of his d**k on my c**t. He growled, “So wet.” He plunged inside me. I gripped the top of his biceps with my arms. “Chase….” He pounded into me, “You are so f*****g wet! You are MINE!” He growled. I screamed and shattered all around him. He didn’t stop. He flipped me onto all fours and gripped my hips slamming into me. He was growling, “MINE! MINE! MINE!” I turned my head in time to see him bite his arm again. I locked eyes with him, “I’m yours Chase. Only yours.” He gripped my hips with both hands again and came with a roar as he pounded into me. 

            He slowly pulled out. I turned around, “What happened? Did I say something?” Chase sighed, “Alfred was interested in you.” I laughed, “I know. He asked to show me around.” Chase growled again. I said, “I declined. Obviously, because I’ve got my wolf. He’s all that I need and more.” Chase kissed me, “I will kill anyone who even tries to take what’s mine.” I said, “Don’t sharpen your knives just yet. Alfred went away with grace.” Chase growled, “He shouldn’t have said anything at all.” I said, “He couldn’t possibly know. We aren’t advertising that you're my string and I’m your mate.” Chase said, “Oh but he knew you were with me. My smell would’ve been on you.” I said, “Does he not like you or something?” Chase snorted, “I’m not currently his favorite person. I’m probably making his life complicated, but that’s not exactly my fault.” I said, “Well… whatever the reason. It doesn’t matter. I don’t want to go on a date with him. One day you and I can go on a date though.” Chase said, “I was going to take you out tonight before we both got roped into dinner.” I smiled, “How were you going to manage that?” I smiled, “I have a restaurant.” I said, “I know, I’ve been there.” Chase laughed, “A different one. I was going to shut it down for us. Are you available Friday? I know we both have Halloween plans, but I could shut it down Friday night for us.” I smiled, “Sounds lovely.” Chase nodded, “Speaking of. Can you get away the week before Christmas for a long weekend getaway?” I smiled, “I have a mission on Christmas Eve, but as long as we are back before that. I can do that.” Chase sighed, “I have a wedding to go to on Christmas Eve. For Alpha Lyons.” I frowned, “Oh man! I’m missing Emmaline’s wedding too. Damn it!”

            Chase asked, “Can my men go with you on that mission?” I said, “What? Oh, yeah. That’s always a simple gather intel and get out kind of a mission. They can shadow me; it won’t be a problem.” Chase looked seriously relieved. “So we have a date Friday and a getaway planned.” I laughed, “Seems like it.” Chase smiled, “We won’t have to hide from anyone on our getaway. I can take you out without fear of being spotted together.” I smiled, “Where are we going?” Chase said, “I want to surprise you.” I said, “Oh good. I love surprises. Not to change gears but Derrick, should he be Sally’s mate, will be pleasantly surprised when she returns.” Chase laughed, “Will he? Why is that?” I smiled, “She had the same dream I did. Then she talked to our goddess. She showed Sally their life together but told her she had to accept him, or she’d take the other path we both saw.” My voice broke, “Noah would kill her.” Chase growled, “No one will kill Sally.” I said, “Sally intends to accept Derrick if he’s her mate. I didn’t tell her who we suspected. She wants to be surprised, but she might just jump him. She saw their kids. She’s always wanted to be a mom.” Chase laughed, “That will take him by surprise. I’m happy for them both. Derrick is convinced she’s his.” I shrugged, “Guess we will find out when she gets back.” Chase said, “You should call your brother. He shot past me at our border with Alpha Conners trying to get to you.” I laughed, “Bjourn brought him to see me. He was a wreck. He’s looking into the possibility of the leak not being Noah. I am slightly sorry about the amount of bodies I dropped in your territory.” Chase shrugged, “Don’t be. It’s already being handled.” he pulled me back into him. “I could smell your blood there at the P.O Box office. When Kincade told me you’d been shot….” I pulled back and looked him in the eyes, “Hey...I’m fine.” He nodded. 

            I watched him, “You look like you’re having an argument with someone.” Chase snorted, “I am.” I said, “With who?” Chase smiled, “Derrick is on the phone with someone who wants to talk to me. I told him I’m busy. He keeps letting me know when Sally is back, I’m going to owe him.” I laughed, “You could go take your call.” Chase put his arms around me, “Oh, I don’t think so. My beautiful mate tends to get in trouble if I’m not around. Old marks from past missions pop up like a bad case of fairies.” I swatted at him, “Hey! I handle those things.” Chase smiled, “I know that you do. I would just rather be by your side as you handle it. If I’d have been with you; you wouldn't have been shot. I can hear a shot being fired.” I said, “You had things to do, and your men were talking to your favorite person alive apparently, Alfred.” Chase growled. I could feel him getting hard beneath me again. I said, “That really just gets you going doesn’t it? Don’t tell me women don’t flirt with you, my big bad Alpha.” Chase backed us up into a wall. He whispered in my ear, “I think someone wants to pull an all nighter again. I’m going to claim every inch of you Lexi Scott. You are mine!” I smiled. Damn if Haley hadn’t cracked the code to passionate s*x. Of all the people in the world…. I just had to laugh at the irony that it was her. The girl who wouldn’t let anyone touch her gets her freak on all the damn time now enough to share secrets about getting wolves hot and bothered. Chase growled and his lips crashed into mine. He didn’t let me go to sleep all night, just like he said. Not that I even wanted to. We were crazed. We only broke apart to shower. 

            I came out and surveyed my room. “I’m going to have to buy new furniture.” Chase smiled, “I own a furniture company. I’ll have things here to replace everything. I’ll move it in by myself.” I snorted, “Oh no you don’t. If you’re going to move things around, you have to do it tonight when I can watch you. Preferably without your shirt on.” Chase laughed, “Done.” We walked outside. I sighed. I still didn’t have my car back. Kevin and Kincade were standing beside a new borrowed car with sour facial expressions. I turned to Chase, “Are you sure you want me to borrow another car? I seem to be bad luck for cars as of late.” Chase kissed me, “You didn’t do anything to your car or mine. I’d rather someone target the car than you. Cars are replaceable.” He kissed me, “You are not.” I said, “What’s with the sour puss twins over there?” Chase laughed, “I told you they weren’t happy you ditched them. Have fun with that. Ted will be late to the office again today.” I said, “Alright. Why?” Chase smiled, “Secret pack things.” I said, “You know when I join you all as your Luna, I get to know these things too. Is there a secret handshake?” Chase roared with laughter, “If you’d like I could make one up for you.” I said, “You should. It will make everything feel official.” He traced his fingers over the spot where my neck met my collarbone. “My mark right here on your neck will make it official.” He kissed the spot and forced himself back. “You’re so tempting.” He told me. I laughed, “Me? Do you see yourself?” Chase smirked, “You have no idea how badly I want to make you mine.” I laughed, “I believe you did… all night and this morning.” Chase smirked, “Not what I mean.” I smiled, “I know but I am yours Chase. All yours.” He kissed me. “Have a good day. Good luck with Kevin and Kincade.”
