Meeting Old Friends Pt. 2

        He attacked my neck. I arched my back into his body, “Chase…” I moaned. He nipped my ear, “You’re going to scream my name tonight.” I whimpered. He kicked the front door shut with the back of his heel. “This outfit has tormented me.” He peppered kisses down my body until he reached the cup of my shirt. He bit my n****e through the material. I gasped and tried to run my hands through his hard, but he still had an iron grip on my hands. He kissed my stomach through the material. His other hand trailed up my legs. He chucked, “I can feel how wet you are through your pants. He got to my waist and stilled, “Who touched you?” I shrugged, “Someone who wanted to dance. I declined.” Chase growled and ripped my top off with his teeth. “MINE!” He yelled before he flipped me over. He spanked me and then ripped my jeans off. He pulled me up to my knees facing away from him. He ran his fingertips lightly over my legs. He drew circles on my hip bones before he kept trailing up my body. I was shaking in anticipation. Chill bumps broke out over my skin. I laid my head back against him when he reached my n****e. He whispered in my ear as he pinched my n****e. “I can’t stop thinking about your mouth on my c**k. Your perfect pouty lips sucking me.” I turned and kissed him. I broke apart to rip his shirt off. “Why did you put clothes on?” Chase laughed, “To make you take them off.” I lowered his shorts enough that he sprang free. I ran my tongue along the length of him from tip to base. He groaned, “Lexi….” I smiled. I looked up at him with doe eyes and slowly took him into my mouth. Chase growled. “s**t!” He pulled me back up to his mouth a few minutes after I’d started. 

        He stood and slammed me back against the door. He slid into me, “You feel so perfect! You were made for me! YOU ARE MINE!” Chase growled. He pulled back and thrust into me. I raked my nails over his back. That drove him crazy. He began pounding into me. “Tell me your mine!” He demanded. I said, “Yours.” He growled and bit my shoulder hard enough to leave a mark, “Say my name sweetheart.” I said, “Chase… I’m yours Chase.” He gripped my hips and went even faster. “CHASE!” I screamed his name as I came. He let a guttural growl loose. I was shaking in the aftershocks of my orgasm. Chase put me over the edge of the couch. He spanked me again before thrusting deep inside me. I screamed in pleasure. Chase chuckled. I rocked back onto him. His hands went to my hips. “Oh no sweetheart. I’m in charge right now.” Why was that such a turn on? He pulled out slowly before slamming back in. He kept doing that before he started gripping my hips tighter. Pulling me to him faster. “f**k LEXI!” Chase growled. I screamed his name again. He playfully threw me on the couch and pounced on me. I got an idea. I rolled us onto the floor. We both laughed. I kissed him and jumped up running through my house. Chase growled and pursued me. We ran around the barrier outside, never leaving it. I’m sure his growls were heard by a lot of people as we ran in and out of the house. He kept slamming the doors when we’d run inside. I ran upstairs and he caught me on the steps. He ran with me over his shoulder to my room. He threw me down on the bed. His eyes were pitch black for a split second. He said, “You’re mine Lexi Scott. No one can take you from me, and no one can keep you from me. I’ll rip anyone apart who gets in my way. I love you so damn much.” I smiled as he crashed his lips back down on mine and entered me. I gripped his arms moaning. We never even went to sleep. We spent the next eight hours buried inside each other. Even in the shower. 

        We made out by the door of my car until Kevin cleared his throat, “It’s a good thing your dad isn’t allowed near Lex now Alpha. If he thought she reeked of you the other day…. Today is a whole other story.” Chase smirked. “Good. Later I want to know why someone was allowed to put their hands on her.” Kevin sighed, “We weren’t in our territory, and it’s not known she’s our Luna.” Chase said, “I don’t care. No one touches her.” I laughed, “I handled it.” He kissed me again. He pulled back when I was breathless. “I know you did. I still don’t want anyone touching you.” I laughed and he opened my door. Kevin and Kincade got in my car. “If you could avoid getting touched in Alpha Conners territory…. We’d appreciate it.” Kincade said. I laughed, “I’ll do my best.” I walked into the office and Ted opened his mouth. I held up my hand, “Coffee Ted. I need coffee.” Ted laughed, “Didn’t get much sleep last night, did you?” I said, “Who went to sleep?” Ted paused for one second before he burst into laughter. “You know you have hickeys…. everywhere?” I turned back to him startled. I yanked open the door in my office and looked in my full length mirror. Ted wasn’t joking. My neck had hickey’s; my freaking JAW had hickey’s. I had some on my shoulder and collarbone as well. I’m not sure how any of this escaped my attention. “Shit.” I said. Ted laughed, “I'll get the concealer.” I laughed, “I don’t know that they will help. I look like I got in a fight with a wild animal.” Ted said, “Well… You kind of did.” I laughed. Ted worked his magic, so I looked presentable for our meetings. The rest of the week flew by. Heath stopped by on Friday to look around the office. He didn’t bother to hide how proud he was.

        Ted and I had everything prepped for the King’s event. I’d spent every night with Chase this week. He’d asked me to leave some casual things in his room at his house this weekend. He argued I could have lots of play dates with Susie. I laughed and agreed. Chase woke me up with breakfast Saturday morning. I laughed, “You act like this is Christmas morning or something.” Chase smiled, “I can finally show you around my house. You’re leaving things at my place. I’m really excited.” I laughed, “So, I’m curious. Eric killed that guy who talked to Haley at his club, didn’t he?” Chase laughed, “He did. He also removed a vampire's fangs and sent said vampire back to King Arthur with no arms. King Arthur executed the vampire. He apparently grew fond of Haley during her imprisonment with his predecessor. He also doesn't want a war with the werewolves or the fairies.” I whistled, “You all don’t mess around. I’d have killed the vampire if he touched her. You know, that right?” Chase smiled, “I know. I hear she’s not a fan of being touched by people she doesn’t know.” I snorted, “Understatement. She’s better with women. That just makes her uncomfortable. Men… even ones she knows… she has to initiate it. The first time I saw her reaction to men touching her it was heartbreaking.” Chase handed me my omelet and asked, “What happened?” I shivered at the thought. “We’d just returned from a mission. One of her brother’s friends had been on several years' long mission. He was introduced to Haley and he picked her up and hugged her. She pushed to get away from him. He was confused but let go immediately. She popped away. The guy was startled. I ran to her room. I found her scrubbing her skin. She ran out of the shower to throw up, then ran back in the shower. She scrubbed her skin practically off. Eventually, I had to pull her out of the shower. Her family hadn't known her reactions were that bad. They gave her privacy while showering. She’d just hole up in her room. Eventually Miley or Marcus would go talk to her. By that time she’d healed her skin. I took her downstairs, after I got her in some clothes. They were shocked.” Chase frowned, “Poor thing. How old was she?” I said, “She was fourteen. We really just went and observed someone. They wanted her around me, and I liked her. She liked me which was the important part.”

        Chase asked, “So she does that every time? Even now?” I said, “Eric is the exception, but Miley told me she did it at the summit.” Chase gaped, “Oh right! I heard Asher licked her face.” I hissed, “He’s lucky he’s dead.” Chase said, “I believe you. He was a little s**t anyway. Who licks someone’s face? Psychos… that’s who.” I laughed, “I know! How that wasn’t a sign he was unstable…. I’ll never understand. What else did you hear about the summit?” Chase said, “Oh… well it didn’t happen at first. When Haley was kidnapped Alpha Conners left and he took basically everyone with him to get Haley back. They rescheduled the second Alpha Conners and company helped rescue her. They both came to the second summit. The Harden children, Claudia, and Asher tried to cause problems for Alpha Conners and Haley. Haley was the picture of poise and grace handling the whole thing. No one mentioned she was violently ill after he licked her face.” I smirked, “They didn’t know. So people really didn’t know that Eric and Haley were barely speaking? Or that she was having memory problems? Or they were having serious problems?” Chase spit out his orange juice, “What? Memory problems? Her and Alpha Conners were having problems? At the summit? Are you sure? I wasn’t back yet, but no one reported that. As much as we LOVE gossip…. EVERYONE would’ve been talking about that. In fact, my brother, Reagan, my dad, Matt, and Isaac talked about how in love they looked.” I smiled, “Through fairy fuckery she was really confused. She couldn’t remember what all happened with Claudia. Miley told me everything wasn’t ok until they got home. She said Eric thought Haley was going to leave him. Haley though Eric needed a wolf by his side. She thought she needed to figure out how to cope and co-parent for their children’s sake. She was heartbroken.”

        Chase’s jaw was on the floor, “No one knew that.” I smiled, “No one’s poker face is better than Haley’s. Always keep that in mind. She’s a vault. She’d never embarrass him by airing their private dealings. You can’t tell anyone any of that though. I was just curious if anyone actually noticed.” Chase shook himself, “I wouldn't tell anyone for several reasons. One, you confided in me. I won’t betray your confidence. Two, Alpha Conners is my ally. I wouldn’t spread any rumors about him. Three, spreading rumors about Alpha Eric Conners Luna is a good way to end up dead.” I smiled, “Well, Let’s not focus on that. Let’s get to my play date.” Chase laughed, “I’m jealous of my little sister.” I smiled and grabbed my bag, “But I’m leaving these clothes at your place.” Chase smiled, “I couldn’t be happier about that. I wish I could move you there.” I smiled, “I’m enjoying this just us time.” Chase nuzzled my neck, “I am too. I still wish I could have you in my home, and with our pack.” I laughed, “Our pack?” Chase grabbed my chin with index finger and thumb, “It’s our pack sweetheart. Whether they know it or not. You are their Luna.” I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. He kissed me lightly. “Let’s get going.” He grabbed my hand, and we ran out to my car. I threw him the keys. We made the short drive to his house. The second I got out of the car Susie threw the door open. “YOU’RE REALLY HERE!” I laughed and caught her. I thought I saw Frank out of the corner of my eye, but when I turned, he wasn’t there.

        Susie led me inside. She had ten different tins of cookies for me. Ranging from Sugar to chocolate chips. I laughed, “I didn’t know I was going home with a goodie bag!” Susie smiled, “Where did Chase take your bag?” I looked around and lowered my voice, “I’m leaving some things in his room.” Susie squealed, “YAY! Come on! Let’s go to my room. Her room had baby blue walls and had dolls and stuffed animals over. I smiled, “It’s a beautiful room.” Susie smiled and grabbed my hand, “I watch the other kids play from my window. You can see them right there.” She pointed to a group of kids.” I said, “Why don’t you play with them?” Susie shrugged, “I don’t think I’m allowed.” I laughed, “Nonsense. Let’s go play with them.” Susie’s eyes got wide, “Really?” I nodded, “Sure, let’s go.” Susie grabbed my hand. I opened the sliding back door, and Susie stepped out. “Chase got a nice new door.” I said, “It’s new? He did pick out a good one. What happened to the other one?” Susie snorted, “You do not want to know.” I laughed, “Do you know?” Susie nodded, “I’m not supposed to, but everyone was talking about it.” I laughed, “I don’t see how you could’ve avoided knowing then.” Susie smiled, “You just get it Lexi. I mean everyone talking about Chase throwing dad through a door…. It’s hard to avoid.” My eyes went wide, “Chase threw your dad through the door?” Susie nodded, “They had a big fight. Mommy said daddy kept undermining Chase. Do you know what that means? I don’t.” I said, “It means he was trying to be the boss when Chase is the boss.” Susie shrugged, “That makes sense. I don’t know why anyone thought that would be hard to explain.” 

        We reached the group of kids. I smiled, “Hello, I’m Lexi Scott.” All the kids turned, “You’re throwing us the Halloween party.” I nodded, “With your Beta Male.” One of the girls said, “He prefers TeleTed.” I laughed, “That he does. If you ever need information, you go to TeleTed. Do you all know my friend Susie?” They nodded. Susie timidly waved. I said, “We’d like to join you?” One girl said, “Really?” I nodded, “Yup, what are we playing?” The little girl said, “We were playing tag. We were trying to think of something else.” I smiled, “I loved capture the flag as a kid.” Everyone oohed and ahhed as if I’d thought of the game myself. I laughed and we were split up into teams. I told them Susie and I were a combined pick. Our team got together to try to figure out where to keep our flag. Susie said, “The west end outside Chase’s office has a really big, good climbing tree.” Everyone nodded. A little boy ran off to go hide our flag. We set up our jail and those who would tag anyone in our territory. Susie and I were on the team that would be getting into the other team’s territory looking for their flag. Two members came with us while the other two split off. They were tagged quickly and taken off to jail. Susie smiled, “I know how to get them out.” She told us her plan. I laughed. Susie and I were going to let ourselves be seen. The other two with us would break our team out of jail. I spotted the other team's flag while we created our distraction. I used half my speed to pick Susie up and ran back to our team's territory. Susie was giggling. The other kids gaped, “Is TeleTed as fast as you?” I laughed, “I’m faster, but TeleTed is also very fast.” One little girl squealed, “WE HAVE THE COOLEST BETA MALE EVER!” One kid rolled his eyes, “He’s the only Beta Male out there.” The girl stuck her tongue out. 

        We re-grouped with our team to go back and hunt the flag down. Susie said, “I saw the flag. It’s on the training gym window.” I smiled. I was really proud of her. She came up with a plan. We all split up into groups of twos. The team heading for the flag got tagged. Susie and I changed our plan. Susie went around to the back of the building. She quietly grabbed the flag and snuck away from the group guarding it. She grabbed my hand, and we ran. The kids on the other team were chasing us. Our team was screaming at us to run. Susie started to run faster. We made it across to our territory and our team screamed and cheered in victory. The kids hoisted Susie on their shoulders and chanted her name. “Susie! Susie! Susie!” She laughed. She was blowing kisses and holding up the flag. We switched back to tag. The kids told me I couldn’t use my speed. I laughed, “I’ll try, but it’s a habit.” We played for hours until I noticed Susie was dragging. I said, “Well, we gotta head back inside.” Everyone was upset. I laughed, “We will come play again.” One kid said, “Susie, you can come back anytime. Miss Lexi doesn't have to be here. You can always come play.” Susie smiled brightly, “Thanks!” We walked back inside. Nadine was wiping tears away standing at the back door. I smiled, “I think we wore her out.” Nadine said, “Let’s go get a nap missy. Did you have fun?” Susie hugged me, “Don’t forget your cookies!” I smiled, “I won’t. I had fun today, Susie.” Nadine picked her up. Her eyes were fluttering shut. Nadine mouthed, “Thank you.” I nodded. Kevin came up to me, “She’s never gotten to do that before.” I frowned, “Why not? The kids love her.” Kevin shrugged, “Overprotective dad. Chase is waiting for you upstairs. Come on.” He led me up the stairs. He pointed out which one was Chase’s room. I opened the door, but I didn’t see Chase. I stripped out of my clothes and went into his bathroom. I turned on the shower. I stepped in once I saw the steam signaling the water was warm.

        I heard a growl and arms encircled me. “You have no idea what you do to me.” Chase whispered in my ear.” I wiggled my ass against him. “I think I have a good idea.” Chase was running his hands up and down me. “Seeing you here with the pups. Playing with them. f**k sweetheart. I can’t wait to have you here with them permanently. I can’t wait to see you with our own pups.” I smiled, “One day. How many kids do you want?” Chase smiled, “At least two, but as many as you want is fine by me.” I laughed, “Let’s start with one… in a few years.” Chase laughed, “We could practice making one.” I said, “Oh we should practice…. often. Maybe even right now.” No sooner were the words out of my mouth than I could feel him at my entrance. “f**k me hard, Chase.” Chase growled and entered me. By the end I was hoping his room was sound proofed. If not...we’d definitely been heard. I decided I didn’t want to know. I dried my hair and put on my makeup. I had Chase bring over my outfit a few days ago. It was in a garment bag that didn’t look like he’d opened. He brought it into the bathroom and left me to finish getting ready. It was a black mermaid dress with sequins. I slid into my dress and grabbed my black shoes. I walked outside the room. Chase groaned, “You’re going to a vampire event looking far too hot.” I laughed, “But I'm yours. Don’t even tell me I don’t smell like you.” Chase smirked, “You do smell like me.” I smiled and gave him a kiss. Chase groaned, “I’ll see you out.” Nadine clapped, “Don’t you look beautiful? I had Kincade take your cookies to the car. Thank you for getting Susie out to play with the kids. She loved it.” I smiled, “I had fun.” Chase walked me to the car. He opened my door. I told him, “I’ll see you at my house later?” Chase nodded, “Be safe.” I smiled “Always.” This time I knew I saw Frank Daniels. He waved at me as I left. I smiled and waved back.

        I drove to the event. We had about an hour before the vampires would be up. I ran through everything with Ted. I smiled, “You did a great job.” Ted was nervous and visibility relaxed when I told him that. I shoved his shoulder, “Come on now. You know you killed it.” Ted smiled, “It does look good. Haley would hate it.” I laughed, “She hates black. Wow…. someone is into video games. This is a great collection.” The king’s day person laughed, “Since you have an NDA with his majesty, I’ll tell you a secret. This is Alpha Lucas Lyons collection. Seems Princess Haley is playing a prank on him. He has to solve clues that will lead him here. It’s been here for a while. He’s killing me. The king had to decree the collection off limits. So many people want to reach out to him to ask if he’d sell any of it.” Ted and I both laughed. I told her, “To be fair, in Haley pranks…. Some of the clues are really hard.” The girl laughed, “She replaced it with Tinkerbell figurines. Want to see the picture?” Ted said, “More than anything else in life right now, I want to see this picture.” We both laughed when she showed us. “That is the most Haley thing that Haley has ever done.” I said. Ted said, “It really is.” The king came up, “Ahh, the princesses prank. It delights all my followers. The place looks perfect you guys. Ms. Scott you look quite stunning Lass.” I smiled, “Thank you King Arthur.” Arthur smiled, “My subjects will want your time tonight.” I smiled, “I’m taken.” King Arthur laughed, “So I smell. Smells like a wolf.” I smiled, “He is a wolf.” Once guests started arriving Ted and I stayed in the background keeping everything on track. I had rebuffed a few advances, but everyone had been respectful. I had just sat down when someone said behind me, “Well, if it isn’t little Lexi Scott. I’d know you anywhere.”

        I turned. I saw a woman I’d seen pictures of. She had blonde hair and stunning blue eyes. She was my mother’s best friend growing up. I said, “Are you… Susan Herford?” The woman smiled, “Frozen in time, in the flesh. Your mother sent me pictures of you growing up. You were supposed to come to North Carolina to visit me that summer with her before...everything happened.” I smiled, “I would’ve liked to meet you. I’m very glad to meet you now. I know my mother missed you.” Susan looked away, “I missed her as well. It was hard to stay away after I’d decided to become a vampire. Those first few years it’s harder to control yourself. I didn’t want to put your mother at risk. Your father came with her the first time we visited.” I smiled, “Hey...do you know who my mom’s ex-boyfriend was?” Susan glanced at me surprised, “She told you about that?” I shook my head, “No, I remembered that she and my dad were arguing with someone that night. My dad said they didn’t want my parents together, but the person argued back. They said it was about my mom’s ex-boyfriend.” Susan sighed, “She would never tell me who she was dating. I know he had a sister though. Your mother really liked her. She tried to end the relationship several times. I think she ended up going to your grandfather for help. Her boyfriend was hitting her. She didn’t know what to do.” I said, “My grandfather?” Susan nodded, “He was the leader of the Hood at the time. He hadn’t handed the title to your father yet.” I said, “What happened to the ex-boyfriend?” Susan said, “I know your grandfather kicked him out of the shroud, but a few people left at that time as well. I was never sure which one he was. I contacted Allison’s parents, your grandparents, after her death. I haven’t touched based with them in a few years, but they were doing alright the last few times we spoke.” I said, “That’s not possible. They died before I was born.” Susan tilted her head, “Your grandparents are very much alive. Both sets of them are.” I frowned, “What do you mean?” Susan said, “I had dinner with your mom’s parents about a year before your parents were murdered. They were like my own family. My parents are slowly coming around to me being a vampire.”
