Meeting Old Friends Pt. 1

        Lexi threw herself into work to forget about Frank’s visit. I called out into the office, “Ted let’s work on the Halloween party for your pack.” Ted nodded, “It’s your pack too, if we want to be technical.” He came back in and we finished every classroom idea. It had taken about an hour and half. I nodded to Ted, “It looks great. I think they will have a lot of fun. I’ll send it to Nadine for final confirmation. Start getting the supplies together.” Ted nodded leaving the room. He was being very quiet. It made me feel like he was planning something. My phone rang. I smiled seeing the readout. It was Chase. I answered immediately. He told me someone needed to talk to me. UGH. I did NOT want to listen to another Frank Daniels apology. To my shock It wasn’t Frank, it was a sobbing Susie. I was instantly concerned. She was saying I wouldn’t be Chase’s princess. Princess? I mean… I guess in a way. I am the Princess of the hood. Not that we call it that, but I could see the logic there. My heart broke when she said I wouldn't want to be her friend. I looked up to see Ted wiping a tear from his eye. I offered to come play with her this weekend. Ted could handle our event set up for the King. I could leave the Daniel’s house in time to make it there myself prior to the vampires rising. Ted gave me a thumbs up approving my thought process. It was really nice to have a friend that just knew you that well. No words were needed. I was really upset the kids thought that we wouldn’t do their Halloween Party because of a disagreement between Frank and me. Of course we would. We’d promised. We weren’t fairy’s, but we did stick to our word.

        Susie wanted me to say I’d still be Chase’s princess. I told her I was definitely Chase’s. That much I did know. The man owned my heart. He’d set up residence there, and he didn’t seem to have any intention of leaving. Susie asked if I was mad at Chase. Not even a little bit. He can’t control his father. We can only control ourselves and our responses. She wanted to know if I’d come live with them. Oh god. I was going to have to move in with them. Hell, I was already referring to Frank as my future father-in-law. Living together is kind of...a given. I told her If Chase wanted me to; I’d move in with them one day. Ted was doing a dance in my doorway. I rolled my eyes at him. Ted motioned that I needed to get off the call. I ended the call and hung up. Ted said, “King Arthur’s daytime assistant will be here to go over their event this weekend.” I nodded. Ted and I had finalized those details after my meeting with the King. His assistant showed up. She was a nice girl. She was also very efficient at her job. She smiled as she was leaving, “Are you both going to be at the event?” I nodded, “Ted will be there to do setup, but I will be there before the event begins.” She smiled, “Well, normally Ted you’d be a hot commodity, but with that mark on your neck; you’ll be avoided. No one wants a skirmish with the pissed off werewolves so soon after our last. You though.” She pointed at me, “Will have men all over you.” I snorted, “I’m taken.” the girl smiled, “Not according to your neck.” She left. 

        Ted snorted, “You’re going to get possessive claimed s*x when you come back reeking of vampire.” I rolled my eyes, “We both will smell like vampires. It’s an event FOR vampires.” Ted snorted, “Mark my words. Someone is going to touch you, and Chase WILL lose it.” I sighed, “Well, we are keeping things on the downlow. I can handle myself.” Ted put his hands in the air, “Oh, don’t I know it. I just would like to be there for the start of Chase smelling you so I can say…. I told you so. I smelled like my BROTHER and Matt mounted me like a crazed possessed man.” I said, “He didn’t know it was your brother.” Ted smirked, “Chase will know it’s not your brother.” I laughed, “Touché. I think it will be fine.” Ted snorted, “No, it won’t. It WILL be funny and fun for you though. You missed getting it that night at the club. Matt told me all about that night. Speaking of…. I invited Haley for drinks.” I said, “You can’t tell her Frank came here! She’ll figure it out about me and Chase knowing each other.” Ted gave me a look, “The most perceptive person about OTHER people is Haley Conners. So weird to say her new last name. She probably already knows. She’s just waiting for you to tell her.” I said, “She doesn’t know for sure.” Ted said, “She’s respecting your decision to keep it private while trying to fix whatever is going…. oh...my...god…” I frowned, “What?” Ted said, “Just something Chase said when I was introduced as the Beta Male just sunk in for me.” I laughed, “A little slow on the uptake their Ted.” Ted looked pissed. He looked away, “I was preoccupied.” I said, “I know. I handled that for you though. Those guys are so very dead.” Ted nodded but said nothing. I shrugged. Ted said, “We are wrapping up at three. The triplets go down for a nap around then. Haley’s popping to us.” I nodded, “That’s doable.” I confirmed everything for our event this weekend. Thankfully we didn’t have Sally on this one. We just needed blood for the vampires to drink. I had a blood bank supernatural vendor for that. He confirmed that he’d have everything ready for us.

        I had just hung up my last phone call when Haley popped in. “Hey! I hear you had a bit of morning. I don’t know what that f*****g means, but apparently it means Happy Hour. I don’t think I’ll ever understand this realm.” She snapped me into a new outfit. I looked down and laughed, “You just don’t do things halfway.” Haley had snapped me into high waisted black skinny jeans with ripped knees. It had a black leather Jacket and a white bodice piece that was see through. Ted came in and squealed, “This is going to make this so much better! Fairy snapped outfit! Looking Sexy Lex! I already changed Haley, no need to get me.” Haley laughed and snapped herself into a new outfit. Ted snorted, “You just like working your wolf up, don’t you?” Haley frowned, “What’s wrong with it?” I said, “Nothing. You look great! Let’s go!” Ted laughed and we walked out. Haley had snapped herself into a red long-sleeved crop with a red and white skintight mini skirt. Blade popped up, “Is trouble.” Ted jumped, “WHY does he do that?” Blade laughed, “Is fun.” Haley said, “What is trouble?” Blade smiled, “Princess.” Haley said, “What did I do? I told Eric we were having drinks. I brought you with me. I am covered.” Blade just laughed. Ted drove us to a bar in Eric and Haley territory. We walked in. Haley said, “Ohhh, I’ve never been here!” We walked to the door and the bouncer did a double take, “Luna.” He said to Haley. Haley said, “It’s just Haley.” The man nodded. Haley asked the guy, “Does Eric own this bar?” The bouncer smiled, “He does. Your drinks will be free.” Ted said, “YIPPEE!!!” Haley laughed. 

        We were led to a booth and a waitress came over, “Hello Luna, and the Luna’s friends.” Haley said, “Spread the word, it’s Haley. This is Ted and Lexi.” The waitress said, “Beta Male Ted? I heard you were friends with him lu…. Haley.” I hid my smirk. I’d share this problem with Haley one day. Ted said, “In the flesh.” The girl actually giggled, “Can I like take a picture with you? My cousins from California will DIE!” Ted said, “Umm sure?” The girl smiled and handed me her camera. I took a photo of them. The girl squealed, “Thanks Beta Male Ted.” She walked away. Ted said, “What just happened?” I laughed, “You’re famous.” Haley said, “You are. You’re the first Beta Male in history, Ted. It’s a big f*****g deal.” Ted snorted and took out his phone probably to text Matt. I took off my jacket and Ted squealed, “You two… photo time.” I heard Blade laugh. Haley threw him her phone too. The waitress came over and we all got out of the booth to take a picture together. Time flew by and we were having such a good time. Haley took out her phone. She read a text then laughed. She called someone and spoke rapidly in Latin. Ted said, “Why haven’t we learned Latin yet?” I laughed, “I know a few words.” Ted said, “What’s she talking about?” I listened, “The triplets.” Ted said, “That’s it? That’s all you got?” I laughed, “We should learn Latin.” I got a text.

My Guy: I’m ripping that outfit off you later

Me: I’m in

My Guy: You look amazing. I wish I could join you guys.

Me: Anticipation my dear Alpha

Haley hung up the phone, “Well, I say we order food and make this a night thing. The triplets popped their happy little selves to my mom and dad. That typically means I won’t be seeing them for the evening.  Little stinkers.” Ted whooped, “WAITRESS!” The girl moved to us at lightning speed, “Yes Beta Male Ted.” Ted laughed, “You can call me Ted or even TeleTed…” The girl squealed, “REALLY? Oh my gosh. My friends are just never going to believe this.” Ted said, “We need menus.” The girl nodded and came back thirty second later with menus.

            Haley predictably ordered a pepperoni pizza. She also added mozzarella sticks, then garlic bread. Ted and I were laughing as she added more and more. Eric’s territory must have known how Haley ate because our waitress just nodded and wrote everything down. I ordered a burger as did Ted. The waitress was about to leave when Haley asked her, “Does Eric own a dance club around here?” Ted howled with laughter. The girl nodded, “The Alpha owns the club across the street. It’s not open yet though.” Haley smiled, “Great. Thanks!” The waitress left and Haley said, “We are going dancing!” I laughed, “I think that could get you trouble Haley.” Haley pouted, “Why?” Ted said, “Has your wolf seen you dance?” Haley thought about it, “I don’t think so. What would that f*****g matter?” Ted and I were laughing. I looked in the corner to see Blade hunched over laughing too. I spotted Kincade and Kevin in another booth with Mark and Joanie. They were trying not to laugh. Fairies were notoriously good dancers. The music flowed through them, and Haley had…. Rhythm. And she could move her hips around before she’d even had s*x. I asked, “Have you ever been to a club in this realm?” Haley shook her head, “No, I’m so excited.” I bit my lip, “Haley, with the way you dance…. Men will try to dance with you.” She shivered, “No...no they won’t. Plus Eric owns the club. No one will come near me.” Ted snorted, “With the way you dance…. girl….it might be worth it to them to get punched by Alpha Conners.” The table of our guards were gaping at Ted’s words. Our food arrived. Haley brushed off our concerns. She didn’t think anyone would want to dance with her.

 My Guy: I heard this is turning into dancing

Me: Yes, and for the record. Even if I’m tipsy. I want to have s*x. It’s in writing and everything for you

Haley got up to run to the restroom. I took a close up picture of my boobs in my top and sent it to Chase.

            He called me a second later. I smirked answering the call, “Can’t talk long. Haley is in the bathroom.” Chase growled, “Lexi. I am VERY close to coming into Alpha Conners territory, throwing you over my shoulder, and throwing you down. I’m tempted to take you on that damn table itself.” I said, “Promise?” Chase growled, “Lexi….” I said, “Gotta go.” I hung up. Ted was laughing. Kincade and Kevin's faces were beet red. I shrugged at them. I was NOT shy. I liked s*x, and I LOVED s*x with Chase. I was going to wind him up and see what the outcome would be. Haley did it with Eric, and for the most part; she didn’t know what she was doing. I did. I winked at Ted and got out of the booth to Let Haley back in. We stayed and talked for hours. The drinks were flowing. Haley giggled, “Eric’s around.” I looked around, “I don’t see him.” Haley shrugged, “I feel him. He’s close. So are Bjourn and Marcus. Probably Eric’s brothers too. OHHH Let’s call Molly!” I laughed as Haley dialed. “MOLLY!” Haley shouted. Molly said, “Hi Haley.” Haley said, “Wanna come dancing?” Molly laughed, “I did just give birth. I could use a night out.” Haley squealed. She popped and popped back with Molly. who was in a loose leopard printed skirt and a black top. Molly looked down. “I love having a fairy sister-in-law. This is the most me I’ve felt in months.” Molly snorted, “Jackson is here.” I said, “Who’s got your kiddos?” Molly smiled, “Cassandra. They were with her already when Haley called.” Haley looked at her phone. “The clubs open now. LET’S GO! I’ve never been dancing in this realm Molly!” Molly looked at me, “Can she dance?” Ted said, “Boy Howdy… Can she ever.” I said, “She could dance before she had sex.” Molly laughed, “Oh dear goddess. Help us all.” I laughed, “We are going to need ALL the goddesses help with this one. She said Eric is here.” Molly said, “They are in Eric’s office at the club.” That sounded all too familiar. 

            We skipped the line. Somehow there was already a line. Haley just skipped right past it. The bouncer smiled, “Luna.” Haley said, “GOD I need to put out a bulletin. It’s just Haley people.” We went inside. We were escorted to what had to be the VIP area. A waitress came over with drinks. We drank them and then Talk Dirty to me came on. Ted clapped his hands. Molly looked confused for about six second. Haley grabbed me and squealed, “IT’S OUR SONG LEX!” Ted followed us with Molly. Haley started to dance, and Molly’s jaw dropped. I shrugged. Might as well dance with her. Haley had gotten better at dancing since she’d had s*x. Haley wasn’t paying attention to the group of men that had started to walk towards us. I spun her into me. She giggled and danced with me. That did not help the situation. If this was what Reagan had seen happening no wonder, she got a clue I was Chase’s mate.

         The amount of people getting bounced from this club was insane. Humans were clearly not allowed in tonight. Only two had been here, and they were the first to go. I saw Susanna out of the corner of my eye. She waved. I tensed. I looked at Ted who had also paled. I nodded to him knowing he’d go ask if there was a vampire in here. Molly whispered while Haley kept dancing, “What’s up?” I said, “There could be a vampire here.” Ted nodded to me. I said, “s**t! There’s a vampire.” Ted held up five fingers. “Oh f**k!” A blur was coming at us. I had Haley behind me sandwiched between Molly and I in a second. Haley said, “Oofff...what?” Eric materialized and had the vampire by the throat. He growled, “SHE IS MINE!” The vampire was trying to get out of his grip, “She smells delicious.” Eric growled and threw the man into several of his people. Haley had popped to get a drink. So she didn’t see any of it. I blurred to her side along with Ted. Susanna gave me a signal. She’d gotten the remaining vampires out and was leaving. I smiled at her. Ted whispered to Molly “That was our all clear.” Eric was berating the man at the door within an inch of his life. All his brothers were holding him back. Haley was blissfully unaware. 

        “f**k… Eric is mad. Why would Eric be mad?” Haley asked. I laughed. I couldn’t help it. Ted snorted, “No idea whatsoever fairy princess. It could not be how you dance. Surely not” Haley said, “Eric would like the way I dance. Wouldn’t he Molly?” Molly said, “Oh… I’m sure Eric will show you all damn night and all day tomorrow how much he likes how you dance.” Haley giggled, “And you guys were f*****g worried someone would want to dance with me. I told you it wouldn’t f*****g happen.” All of us snorted. Eric must have heard her because he turned to stare at her incredulously. Then two things happened simultaneously. Hands gripped my waist. Ted shot in between Haley and the guy who tried to grab her. He frowned at Ted, but spoke to Haley, “I’d dance you with pretty thing.” Molly said, “Oh good. He has a death wish.” I stepped on the insole of the guy who touched me. “Take your hands OFF me.” I told him. Haley said, “No thanks on the dance.” The guy said, “Hey! It’s a club! You’re dancing like you want to have s*x tonight! What? I’m not good enough for you?” I heard a growl. Haley turned red, “EXFUCKINGCUSE ME?! I’m dancing like I’m having a good time with my friends! What does having s*x tonight and how I was dancing have anything to do with each other? I’m OBVIOUSLY having f*****g s*x tonight. No with you though, with my husband. In case you were curious.” The guy snorted, “You’re too young to be married. He went to grab her, and Blade appeared. He slammed the guy’s head on the bar. The guy’s nose busted open. The guy who had been near me backed up with his hands in the air. Eric grabbed the guy by the throat. Haley giggled, “Hey Thor! I was wondering when you were going to come out of wherever you were. Wanna dance?” Eric said, “Angel, we can dance in one minute.” Ted bumped my hips, “It’s so exciting around her.” Marcus snorted, “Who told her going dancing in this realm was a good idea?” I said, “She decided it would be fun. She didn’t think it would be different than in your realm.” Bjourn laughed, “Of course she didn’t. Little one, let’s go to your VIP area and get you and your friends another drink.”

        Haley giggled, “YES! You have to have a drink too, Bjourn! And Marcus! The four of us haven’t been to a club together in forever! We have a new member tonight too. So now we have five.” Marcus laughed as we walked away. Haley turned, “You said we could dance later Thor! Don’t forget!” Eric turned. His eyes were pitch black, “I will not forget.” Haley clapped and we walked away. Haley got her drink and said, “Damn. Now Eric’s going to say my fairy allure attracts men.” Ted was laughing so hard. I said, “Haley…. You’re hot and you can dance your little ass off. Men have gotten thrown out of her left and right tonight.” Haley said, “They have? Why? Oh Eric better have thrown that guy out that touched you, Lex.” Marcus said, “Blade threw him out.” Haley nodded, “Good.” I turned to see Eric leading the man that had spoken to Haley back to his office. The guy didn’t make it there before Eric ripped the man's arm off. Ted gaped. He whispered to me, “What do you think that said to Eric that made him rip off his arm?” I shrugged, “Who knows? Something stupid.” 

        After thirty minutes Eric came out. Wearing other clothes. He gripped Haley by the waist, “Still want to dance, Angel?” Haley squealed, “YES! Let’s go dance guys!” We laughed and followed her to the floor. She was grinding all over Eric the second we hit the floor. Anyone who came within three feet of our group received a death glare from Eric. They quickly walked away. Ted leaned over, “His scary face is f*****g terrifying.” Eric smirked at Ted. His brother, Jackson, joined Molly on the dance floor. I really couldn’t wait until I could have Chase here with me. I think our little group would have a lot of fun together. Matt showed up ten minutes later. The club went INSANE when Matt kissed Ted. Ted was beet red. Eric laughed, “You are all celebrities around here Beta Matt.” Beta Matt laughed, “So is your family and Haley.” Eric smirked, “Yes, but that attention would make my Angel uncomfortable. They know not to do it.” 

        Haley said, “Why would they care about me? I just get Luna’d to death everywhere I go. I need you to tell everyone they can just call me Haley.” Eric kissed her, “It’s a sign of respect.” Haley sighed, “You’re not going to tell them to call me Haley. Are you?” Eric shook his head. I laughed. I said, “I’m going to run to the restroom.” Eric said, “Use the one in my office. It’s private.” His smirk told me he knew exactly what I was going to do. I wasn’t going to reflect on that. I ran to his office and locked the door. I facetimed Chase. He answered immediately, “Lexi…” I smiled, “Where are you look dark?” Chase said, “The border of my territory and Alpha Conners. The second you come across this border you’re mine.” I giggled and traced my hands over my collarbone and then down to my breasts. “It’s really hot in the club, Chase. I’m all sweaty.” I took a deep breath testing the limits of my top. My n*****s were almost showing. Chase took a deep breath, “Lexi Scott. I will come get you.” I said, “Na huh! You can’t. We are a secret. If you were here though, we could have some fun. I’m in a private bathroom. I think my red lipstick would look good on your d**k. Don’t you think?” Chase hissed, “Lexi… I will warn you one more time.” I licked my bottom lip. “I can just imagine my lips on you. Then you pull me up to your mouth. I ache for you Chase. My whole body craves you.” Chase growled, “GET YOUR ASS TO THE BORDER NOW!” I blew him a kiss, “See you when I see you Alpha wolf of mine.” He growled as I hung up. I ran back out to the group. Matt raised an eyebrow at me. He leaned down, “You are brave.” I smiled but said nothing else. 

        Chase was blowing up my phone. Haley and I got another drink. Ted said, “Alright. I wanna get some time in with my man.” I laughed, “It was a fun night Haley!” Haley smiled, “Let’s do it again soon.” Jackson sighed, “Oh joy.” Haley said, “That’s the spirit!” I laughed. She had no idea he was not looking forward to it. She gave me and Ted a hug. She nodded to Matt and Eric practically dragged her to the back. Molly said, “It was fun to spend time with you guys!” I smiled, “Glad we got you out of the house.” Molly said, “Me too!” We all piled into Ted’s car. I said, “Hey Ted. I forgot to ask. How do you have a car?” Ted laughed, “My Matt bought me a new one.” Matt threw his hand over the headrest and rubbed small circles on Ted’s neck. “Which is why Lexi’s window has to be down.” Ted lowered my window. I laughed, “Why does my window have to be down?” Matt laughed, “You riled up an Alpha wolf. He’d rip the car door off to get to you. He’s been wound all day, and he fought someone. If you’d been at the pack house, we wouldn’t have seen him the rest of the day. Chase is wound tighter than a tick. I frowned, “He fought someone?” Matt nodded, “He won. Don’t worry.” Ted snorted, “Incoming Lex.” Matt unbuckled my seatbelt, and before I could ask why I was pulled out of the window. I was up against a tree in seconds. Chase’s lips smashed onto mine. He bit my lip roughly. I grinded my hips against his. Chase growled, “Run Sweetheart.” I laughed. I took off running. I was tackled into my house. Chase said, “You’re slower when you’ve been drinking.” He flipped me on my bag and grabbed both my hands holding them above my head.
