The enigmatic text message lingers in my mind throughout the night. One of Nicholas's seven girlfriends intends to see us at midnight. She is aware of our plan for revenge. She has an idea that will destroy the whole thing.
In the morning, I need to go to the office to go and pretend like everything is alright.
I went to the office very early to find out if Nicholas was already in the office. He doesn't usually come as early as this. That means there's issues.
