"I'm girlfriend number fifteen. And I know where Nicholas hid all the real evidence."
The text message glows on my phone screen as Maya, Alexandra, and I stand outside the hotel watching Nicholas get driven away in handcuffs. Fifteen girlfriends. Not seven. Fifteen.
"We have to meet this person," Maya says. "She knows something we don't."
"Or it's another trap," Alexandra points out. "Like the warehouse was supposed to be."
"Nicholas is in police custody," I argue. "He can't trap us right now."
