Meridian

Her training starts to get more and more intense. Since her last encounter with Mason, she trains harder than ever. John notice some changes in her but he didn’t tell her. Her speed increased. Jonathan had some difficulties going against her. She still thought Jonathan was holding back but John knew she started to connect to her wolf heritage. Also today she got Jonathan in a submission move. Jonathan tapped out.

“Ufff… you had me”

“Thanks, kiddo” They get very well along which makes John happy.

“Maddy tomorrow you will train with me”

“Really ? Am I good enough?”

“I think the time is right” She jumps happily around.

“I think breakfast is ready let’s go”

“I would like to run another round, you guys could go first”

Maddison jogged to the lake from last time. She likes this place. The Voice she heard didn’t appear again. John told her it could be her wolf who speak to her. It would be great if she gets her wolf. She climbs the rock on top of the waterfall. The view was breathtaking. The Packwood ground was in front of her. The small bungalow with the red tiles, the woods with their high trees the lake with clear blue water, it was amazing. Suddenly a voice giggles in her head. Maddison looked around but didn’t see anyone.

“Hellooo? Is there someone?” She looks down at the waterfall.

“Jump!” The voice told her. She again looks around but nothing, not even a bird.

“Okey? Am I hallucinating?”

“Come on Jump!” Again the voice speaks to her. Now she was sure she heard a female voice.

“Who are you? ……” none respond.

“Hellooooo…..” again none respond

She goes to the edge of the waterfall. The voice told her to jump if anything was down there. It was quite high but she wasn’t afraid.

“Okey let’s find out” Maddison jumps down the waterfall. The strong water flow pushed her underwater. She starts to panic her chest felt heavy. She tried to swim upwards but the water flow was too strong. Slowly her strength starts to leave her then the voice appeared again.

“Hi Maddison, it's not time to give up. Concentrate on your inner strength. Gather them and start to move”

At first, she was perplexed hearing the voice. Now it was so clear. Someone was speaking to her. A voice so beautiful and clear spoke to her.

“Maddison is not time to dream hurry up”

She got out of her shock and starts to move her feet and hands. Now it was really easy to move forward in no time she dives up. She got out of the water and took some breath filling her lungs with air.

“Good! You made it”

Maddison starts to smile.

“May I ask who you are?”

“Hi Maddison I am Meridian your wolf”

She got up and looked around.

“You don’t have to search for me dummy I am always with you. I see, hear and feel everything like you. I am one with you”

“Will I swift like the other wolves?”

“Not yet but you will. It’s a painful process but doesn’t be afraid you have me”

“your voice is beautiful Meridian”

“Thank you. I am happy to connect with you. I was always there I know your pain your happiness and your sorrow. From now on we will face everything together”

Maddison had tears in her eyes. Her wolf makes her so emotional. It was a great feeling to connect with her.

“Don’t cry. Let’s exploit your potential Maddy”

Meridian hurried her to try her strength. She looked at a big rock. She put both her hands on it and start to lift it. She was shocked when she lift it like a pillow. With a small throw, it landed in the lake. She still looks at the spot of the rock. Still couldn’t believe her eyes.

“Now close your mouth and let’s go for a run”

Meridian pushed her to move. Maddison starts with small steps but as soon as she put in some tempo she moves as fast as a jeopard or even faster. She cries out in happiness. The wind was howling through her hair. In no time she arrived home.

“OMG Meridian that was so great, I love it”

“Hahaha yes we wolves are great now you have access to your wolf heritage use them”

“Let's not tell John about it I want to surprise him tomorrow” the two giggles together when Jonathan exit the front door.

“Maddy, you are back? You didn’t go too far. I finished my breakfast, I have to leave for school” Jonathan passed her.

She went in with a smile tomorrow they will be surprised.
