Theodora watched as Winston's artfully sculpted fingers got smudged with grease.
His movements were clumsy as he peeled the shrimp, but he eventually succeeded, placing it into her bowl.
For a moment, it felt like her icy heart softened just a little.
Theodora pressed her lips together. "You're so good to me, but I'm not sure I can return the favor. You deserve someone better than me."
"In my eyes, you are the best," Winston replied, a hint of displeasure in his tone. "Do you really think I'm the type to fall for just anyone?"
Theodora's curiosity got the better of her. "Then why do you like me?"
After all, they hadn't spent much time together.
