A few days later, Theodora received an invitation from the Ultimate Math Challenge program team.
She made her way to the filming location.
"Are you familiar with the process of our show? We pair 'amateur math prodigies' with random celebrities to solve problems together. If the celebrity's performance is too poor, they'll eventually be eliminated, but it won't affect your results," a staff member explained to her.
This show had drawn in a huge number of math enthusiasts and had even introduced several prominent figures in the field.
Theodora nodded to show her understanding.
"However," the staff member added, glancing around, "it seems like the celebrity we've paired you with hasn't arrived yet. Could you wait here for a moment?"
"Sure."
