CHAPTER NINE Dana waited patiently outside the office where Cynthia worked. He peeked through the glass section of the heavy door to try and get her attention. She was busy typing. He waved his arms back and forth so she would see him. She kept typing. "Yes!" a voice boomed out behind Dana. Dana jumped a little and looked around. It was a tall, business-type man with a frown on his face. He looked down at Dana, then repeated, "Yes!" "Oh, hi. I was just waving at a friend." He felt embarrassed and foolish. "You know, we work up here, we don't fool around," the man said bitterly. "No s**t," Dana replied, aggravated with his impertinence. "I've seen you clowning around down there with your violin.
