Chapter sixty FIGHTING FOR LIFE Gabriella attempted to open her eyes as her head rested back against the bathtub, wearing a flimsy nightgown with her right hand bound by a chain. It was digging into her skin and her wrist was red-raw. Her eyes closed again out of sheer fatigue. The water level was up to her stomach but he was filling it up with more water. She had to think of a way out of here, but so far, he had enjoyed watching her suffer. It was only on the first day that he had kept her on a bed. On the second day, he’d undressed her and put her in this nightgown, moved her into the bathtub, and chained her. At least the water got warmed every couple of hours, but she was shaking out of fear right now rather than the cold. She had no chance of escape. This was what had happened to
