EPILOGUE: TWO MONTHS LATER
Gabriella sat with Jesse on her living room couch. Chairs surrounded the space as Joy, Bella, Liz, Jamie, Claudia, and Camilla sat with drinks in their hands.
She leaned forward as Jesse stroked her hand while she addressed her friends. “I called you all over here to explain everything. Marco, Octavia, and Angelo are working on another case. I know you guys wanted the details about everything, but Marco wanted us to hold off on telling you anything until they prepared all the evidence for the upcoming trial. But that won’t be for at least another six months.”
