I still laugh about Moderation Online when I think about it. After all, it’s the most ridiculous idea ever—anthropomorphic vegetables versus processed foods? Everything about it just screams silliness.
I can’t tell you how many times during the first draft that I considered just giving up on this project because it was so “out there.” But I kept going, and I’m glad I did.
Moderation Online was born from an experience I had in 2012. After a lovely night out with my wife at a local restaurant, I fell ill with severe pain. Turns out I got a bout of colitis, which, if you’ve never had it, it’s very painful. I had be to hospitalized for several days. While I was in the hospital being treated for the colitis, I picked up another more serious infection call C.Diff. C. Diff kills
