My Mate

Seth's POV:

After coming back out of what seemed to be a trance; I stumbled back with shock, coursing through my body. Something had awakened inside me. I felt warmth for the first time in ... well forever.

I had never felt the warmth of the sun, the toastiness of a fire or the heat of a living creature, the rush of this hit me like a werewolf tackling it's prey. The warmth body of the hybrid lingered on my finger tips, it made me want more of her. The feelings of loneliness surrounded me in a dark cloud. What is happening to me!? Why do I want her...?

Lorna's POV:

He let go....why? I want him to touch me more, why do I want this!? He's beaten, r***d and tortured me! I can not let myself fall for him just because we are 'fated'. If we were, he wouldn't have hurt me in the first place! I can not forgive that.

Watching his movements and stumbling back, he couldn't get oriantation, and so I felt bad, even though I shouldn't, I wanted to run, but my feet weren't moving. Ugh, I thought before I turned towards him after sorting myself out and went over resting a hand on his shoulder. Suddenly, I could feel a spark of connection, and Lillith went crazy inside me, I told her to calm down instantly. I could see Seth's jet black wolf inside him confused.

It was known for hybrids to be disoriented when they first appear. I felt sorry for him before I spoke "S-Seth sit down and slow your breathing." he then nodded before sitting down slowly and calming his breath. He couldn't talk as he was focusing on his breathing.

I grabbed him and started toom his to a chair and sat him down. This made him able to steady himself as he asked, "Why are you being kind to me?" I took a moment before speaking softly, "Because you are my mate, Seth, and I am not going to leave someone having a panic attack."

I didn't know what would happen now. Would this change how he treated me, or would he be found out? I needed to talk to him as soon as he got his head around, turning into a hybrid.

Hey! I know this one is short but I wanted to get it published for you all and I'm sorry for taking so long with this update. This story is nearly finished, and I'm not sure if I'll continue it into a series or what yet. However, don't be sad. I have other stories in the works that I will be starting after this is finished!
