The aftermath

After the battle of the werewolves and vampires vs hybrids concluded, the monsters that surrounded my mother grabbed her and the other two opened the castle doors. The doors swung open and slammed against the walls it sent a wave of noise throughout the halls up and down the castle. Lorna also heard the laughter of the second borns' voices.

Francisco's POV:

I ran to Marcel's room and woke him up, quickly getting a bag, Marcel was only 11 years old and he didn't know what was happening in the kingdom since we kept him inside. I ran out of his room and to Lorna's but she wasn't there, like usual. I looked around the castle at where she was normally found but I still couldn't find her. Before I could go to the throne room, a huge bang and immediately I knew it was the castle doors meaning the hybrids lost and the soldiers had failed.

I ran as fast as I could carrying marcel on my back, I snuck out the kitchen doors and to the trees where other hybrids were hiding, who were left alive that is. I hear the cries of children who's parents' died fighting or protecting the young. I saw fires burning all the houses where hybrids lived.

Lorna's POV:

I stayed in the tower a little longer before running down and sneaking out of the door at the bottom of the tower, to be honest it was more like a hole in the wall. I ran over and got the child before Seth got the young child. I looked in the direction of the head of the Noctis family. I ran as fast as I could but he scratched my arm when he tried to grab me but he was too slow.

I run to the tree line and tell her to go into the trees and she does exactly that. After I help her I go to retrieve her very important objects from the tower again. Before I could get them I saw the worse thing that I could ever see...

Hey! I know its a shorter chapter then the last, but I'm trying to emphasize on how horrible the night was for each of the Nightworth family, as well as the rest of the hybrids. I'm sorry about the slow start, but bare with me please and hopefully you will like the story to come.
