The Abused Alpha Queen

The Next Day

Lorna's POV:

When I woke, I groaned in pain as the mattress was full of springs and I had no pillow. I got up finally and I went to look at the courtyard. My mother's body was left there and I look up across the kingdom and the sunrise is beautiful even though it was going to be a horrible day, I could feel it in my gut.

I crept down the stairs and went over to my mothers body, I let out a whimper and tried to hold her tears back. I had to bury her body and head, I manage to dig a grave and then I bury her and then places a stone with her name on, saying beloved mother and alpha queen. After that I walk around the kingdom with a shoal and hood on, looking at the damage. Everyone was asleep anyway since it was early in the morning.

Brody's POV:

I wake up and go out onto the balcony, I look at the horizon and then down to the courtyard to see if the former Queen's body was there, but it had gone. I looked around and couldn't see, so I quickly dressed myself and went down to the courtyard.

When I saw the trail, it looked like someone had dragged her body and so I followed it all the way to a grave. I crouched down and it read 'Angelika Nightworth. Beloved mother and Alpha Queen', I then thought and I had a feeling that her daughter hadn't left the kingdom, since I watched Francisco and his son Marcel run but I didn't see Lorna his daughter run.

I smirked at the thought of her being here all alone with no protection from her beloved family and looked for her tracks of footprints in the dirt, I followed them throughout the kingdom trying to find the girl.

Lorna's POV:

I wandered around and scavenged for food since I was now starving, I found some bread and water but that was all. I knew it wouldn't fill me since I also need blood but it would have to do for now. I made my way to a tree and sat down at it out of sight to the towns people. I looked over at the sun rising above the hills, it was beautiful, it took me back to when I was on the highest balcony in the castle with my mother and brother watching the sunrise, we had stayed up all night before just to see the beautiful, morning delight of the sun rising over the hills. I then teared up at the thought that it would now never happen again, I sigh as I begin to eat the bread which tasted stale since it was a few days old now and the water that tasted fine it was just warm.

After I had eaten the food, I sighed again leaning back again the tree looking at the amazing view in front of me. I sat there for a while and started to get up but a hand wrapped around my neck, I gasped and it squeezed tighter.

Suddenly the body connected to the hand showed itself as I whimper and scratch at the hand. It was Brody Blacktooth from the werewolf clan he was one of the four who surrounded my mother; I growl at him as he chuckled at my struggling. The boy squeezed harder and harder as I gasped and squirmed to get air, I gripped his arm trying to get him to let go but he just picked me up by the neck, I whimpered flailing my legs in the airtrying to touch the ground. He spoke "Well , isn't it miss Lorna Nightworth, I thought you ran with the other pathetic hybrids" his voice wasn't evil though it was more venomous and mischievous than anything.

I looked down at him and he had black hair with sky blue eyes, he was good looking to be honest but there was a darkness about the young wolf. He pinned me back against the tree and I groan I try to speak up and it ends up coming out as "I.......p-please......l-let.....p-please........g-go--" while I gasp and whimper out. He just chuckled and smirked as he watched more.

Celestria's POV:

When I awoke, I walked down the staircase inside the castle of the kingdom Brecia. I was proud of myself for defeating the Nightworth Clan, the Hybrid Clan, they were so annoying they were stronger, smarter and faster then us and everyone loved them, until my mother and father rebelled against the rules and they got executed then the wolfs hated them.

My father was the true alpha since he was fully wolf and my mother was so sweet, kind and caring but the hybrids stole her away as well as my younger sibling, my mother was five months from giving birthday but they stole my little siblings life before it started. The thought of their execution enraged me so I had to calm down.

I did just that from ripping down the Nightworth's banners and putting my own up on the right hand side of the castle. By this time Seth had woken up and saw what I was doing then got his banners up quickly on the left side. I just looked at him confused "what are you doing?" I spoke up.

"Putting my family's banner up on this side" his voice was groggy like he hadn't has a drink yet.

"Why? This is ruled by the werewolves now, you blood suckers need to go home" I said turning fully to face him.

He just chuckled and shook his head "us 'blood suckers" aren't going anywhere. Without the vampires all of you untamed dogs would've failed. So we are going to rule, missy."

"Back at you. It is unfair for one of us to rule when the other helped so how about we rule half each. You have your vampire side and I have my wolf side, then the humans are in the centre again half yours, half mine. No sucking their blood though!" I finally spoke up, hopefully it would work.

He stayed quiet for a while and moved to lean against the wall looking at me up and down, figuring out how the vampires could also benefit without the wolfs going back on the deal. After some thought he spoke up "So we both rule? Vampires at night and wolves in the day?" I nodded, that was pretty smart since we wouldn't have to spend much time together and an informate could send the information between us both. He proceeds to speak "to seal the deal sort of speak.....your youngest male will marry our youngest female but we kill the hybrid children and only keep the full breed children." He concluded.

My eyes widened at the thought of killing babies and shook my head "we don't kill them we send them away to live with the other expelled hybrids, deal?" I put my hand out for him to shake. He waited a few seconds before nodding and shaking my hand. After that he nodded again and left me to do my jobs.
