"What was that jerk talking about, and why did he kiss you?" Arnold demanded.
Talia sighed. "I'm sorry, Arnold. I kissed him."
"What?"
"It was just a dare. I went to the Mafia club with Megan and the girls, and I was dared to kiss him," she explained.
Arnold’s jaw clenched. "And what does he want from you now?"
"He wants more. He wants me for himself," she admitted, frustration clear in her voice.
"Is he insane? You're mine, Talia. No one can take you from me. I'll fight him," Arnold said fiercely.
"No, Arnold, you can't. He's Xavier Montenegro," Talia warned.
"I don't care who he is. I love you, and I’ll fight for you," Arnold declared, pulling her into a tight embrace.
"I love you too, Arnold," she whispered.

Xaiver’s Office
Xavier smirked as he watched them
"She's really testing my patience. I bet she won’t like my next move."
Clarissa stormed into his office without knocking. "So, this is why you didn’t show up for the goods testing? That girl?"
Xavier’s expression darkened. "And what exactly is that supposed to mean? Since when did I give you permission to meddle in my business?"
"Xaiver, you have to think straight. That girl has a boyfriend. She’s no good for you!" Clarissa snapped.
Without hesitation, Xaiver pulled out his gun and shot her in the arm. Clarissa gasped, clutching her wound as blood seeped through her fingers.
"You have no right to interfere in my affairs," Xaiver said coldly. "You are just an employee. Stick to your job, and never call me by my name again. Next time, it won’t be your arm—I’ll blow your head off."
Clarissa staggered out, blood dripping with every step.
"Clarissa! Are you okay?" Manuel ran to her side.
"Do I look fine to you?" she snapped.
"Let’s get you to the clinic," Manuel said, guiding her away.

Emirate College
Talia sighed as she read the messages flooding her phone.
Arnold is sleeping with your best friend, Megan.
You’re being played, Talia.
How does it feel to be a fool?
She gritted her teeth. This has to be Xavier's doing. Arnold would never betray me. And Megan? She’s my best friend. She would never hurt me.
With a frustrated huff, she deleted the messages. The real question was—how did Xaiver even get her number?
"Talia, what’s up? How are things with Xaiver Montenegro?" Megan asked, suddenly appearing beside her.
"The same as always. Can you believe he planted a tracker on me?" Talia scoffed.
Megan’s eyes widened. "I told you to be careful with him. Does Arnold know he’s been bothering you?"
"Yeah, and he’s handling it," Talia said, checking her watch. "I’ve got class. See you later."
"See you," Megan said with a smile.
As Talia walked away, Megan’s smile faded. I hope I never see you again, she muttered under her breath.

Two Hours Later
"I can’t believe you’re still with her after what she did," Megan hissed. "She kissed him, Arnold!"
"I love her, and she loves me. That’s all that matters," Arnold said firmly.
Megan’s eyes burned with frustration. "What do you see in her that I don’t have? I love you, Arnold! I have everything you want!" She leaned in, attempting to kiss him.
Arnold shoved her away roughly, making her stumble. "You’re just my slut, Megan. I only need you when I want s*x. Stay in your lane and don’t try this s**t again."

N Chocolate Company
The air was thick with the rich scent of chocolate, but tension filled the boardroom. The failed deal had sent the company into crisis, and everyone was scrambling for a solution.
"What’s our next step?" one of the board members demanded.
"We have to recover our losses and restore the company’s reputation," another added.
Mr. Norman, the company’s president, exhaled sharply.
"If you can’t fix this, you need to step down," a board member warned.
"Calm down. I will fix this," Mr. Norman said confidently. "I’ll make sure everything is back on track.
"You have one week, Mr. Norman," the board member declared before the meeting ended.
Norman Mansion
"I can't believe the board members are turning their backs on you now," Mrs. Norman said, her voice laced with frustration.
Mr. Norman exhaled heavily. "I only have one week. I put everything into that deal, and if I step down as president, everything I worked hard for will crumble."
"Don't worry, we’ll fix this," Mrs. Norman reassured him, patting his back gently.
Mr. Norman clenched his fists. "I want the best future for Talia. I can't let her suffer. I have to find a way out."
Unbeknownst to them, Talia stood outside the door, listening. Her heart ached at her father’s words.
I have to act fast. Dad is thinking about me, and all this time, I've been so selfish.

Arnold’s House
Talia inhaled deeply, standing at Arnold’s doorstep. She was here to break up with him.
She had started this dangerous game with Xaiver Montenegro, and now, she would see it through—even if it meant stepping into his world and being unhappy for the rest of her life. Her family’s future mattered more than her own happiness.
She knocked, and the door was opened by the family maid.
"Miss, it’s late," the maid said hesitantly.
"I know. I need to speak with Arnold," Talia said, stepping inside.
The maid fidgeted. "Sir Arnold is… um…"
"Are you okay?" Talia asked, narrowing her eyes.
"I should… let him know you're here," the maid stuttered.
"You don't need to inform him. I’m his girlfriend, not a stranger," Talia said, brushing past her toward Arnold’s room.
But as she approached, she heard something that made her freeze. Loud moans.
Arnold and his stupid blue films, she thought with a grin—until she opened the door.
Shock crashed over her like a tidal wave.
Her best friend—Megan—was riding her boyfriend.
"Arnold?! Megan?!" she screamed, her voice breaking.
Arnold shoved Megan off him in panic. "Baby—"
Talia took a shaky step forward, her vision blurred with unshed tears. "How could you do this to me?" she asked, her gaze locking onto Megan.
Megan smirked, standing up without an ounce of guilt. "How could I not? Arnold was mine from the beginning."
"You’re my best friend," Talia whispered, her voice barely audible.
"And now you finally see the truth. I love Arnold," Megan said, completely unapologetic.
"Shut up, Megan. Let me explain!" Arnold snapped, but Talia shook her head.
"I don’t want to hear anything from you," she said, her voice cracking. "To think I was willing to sacrifice my father's dreams for you." She let out a bitter laugh. "I’m done with you, Arnold."
Tears streamed down her face as she turned to leave.
Arnold rushed after her, but Megan clung to him from behind. "Just look at me, Arnold. Please, love me."
Arnold pried her hands off him, disgusted. "Even if you were the last woman on earth, I wouldn't love you." He stormed out, finding the maid waiting outside.
"Why didn’t you tell me she was here?!" he barked.
"I tried, sir. I'm sorry," the maid said, bowing.

The Streets
Talia ran blindly, her heart shattering with every step.
The two people I loved the most betrayed me.
Those anonymous messages had been true. Xaiver Montenegro’s words had been true. How he had known was a mystery, but right now, she couldn’t even think straight.
She wiped at her tears furiously. "Tonight is the worst night of my life. What worse thing can happen?" she muttered bitterly.
As if mocking her, the skies roared, and heavy rain began to pour.
She didn’t bother seeking shelter. She let the cold rain soak her, shivering as memories of Arnold and Megan played in her mind.
A sleek black car pulled up beside her, its headlights illuminating the dark street.
The door opened. Someone stepped out.
Even in the rain, she recognized that scent—Xaiver Montenegro.
"Little one," he called, his voice smooth and unreadable.
Her vision blurred with fresh tears as she stepped toward him, completely broken.
"I’m ready to be yours," she whispered. "Kiss me till I lose my breath. F*ck me till I pass out. I’m all yours now, Xaiver Montenegro."
And with that, she collapsed against his chest.
Xaiver caught her effortlessly, his arms tightening around her before carrying her into the car.
"Drive," he ordered.
The car sped off into the night.
