The cold metal cuff clipped my hands as these two officials took me away. It's for sure surprising how they didn't even regard my father, who's well known in the pack or even Beta Tristan.
They must be new here. I'm sure.
Everything has been happening so fast. The weird ritual test with Tristan and then the urgent phone call. The amount of things that ran through my mind about what officials with warrants were doing in my office.
Would I be framed for fraud just three weeks of working? The prime suspect of who would’ve framed me is definitely Vance Donovan.
But a pup in a basket? That's a whole other level that I can't comprehend even till this moment as the officials are taking me to their station for questioning on what case? Child neglect?
