Tristan's POV
The sigh of relief that leaves me when Arianna agrees to stop by in the next forty minutes for Elena.
She was hesitant at first, and I knew why. Everything has been awkward with us since at the restaurant. She saw me with Yola Lockwood and I know the particular thought that ran through her mind and I saw her with a guy who I found out was Derek Sullivan and Arianna isn't the type to just go out with a guy for dinner and how am I certain about that? She never gave me a response for my dinner offer.
Maybe that's why I've been moody, and maybe that's why she's been avoidant, and I planned to keep it that way until my dear Elena starts yearning for her.
