45 - Abby POV

"AHH! AHHH! AHHHHH!" God, I never felt so much pain and pleasure in my whole life as I come down from my high a second time. Or was it a third? We had jumped under the shower, as suggested by Ash, and, somehow, managed to go an extra round. To feel Colt slide out of me as we slumped against the wall - thank God! "Are you alright?" Colt pulls me in towards him as we slowly melt to the floor of the shower cubicle. "Yeah... let's just... not do that for a while. Feel like it's going to be a long time to recover." I breathe out as I rest my head on his shoulder. "But it was enjoyable." "Well, we can sit here for a bit, and then we can go and grab those presents we talked about." And so we did. It was our own little world... in the shower. We eventually did leave the bathroom, after drying ourselves off, and made our way over to the little seating area in our bedroom. "My present first." I exclaim as I pull it out from under the sofa. It was in a Christmas bag with ribbons tying the handles together. "Merry Christmas, Colt." He sits himself down on the sofa and pulls me in close next to him; my legs slightly draped over the top of his as he unwraps his gift. I could see the tears start to swell in his eyes as he finished opening the present and flipped through the pages. "How did you find these?" "Naomi and Siobhan helped me." The present I had got him was a photo album. It had pictures of him growing up - some solo pics, some with his parents and some with other members of the pack; there was the odd couple with people I recognised as the Alphas and Lunas from other packs in the United Kingdom and Ireland. "I know you lost a lot of stuff in the fire, so we managed to find some pictures your parents had posted online and asked the others if they had any." His hands stop as he finds the couple of phoots of us I had put in, followed by a few blank pages. "And these are for future memories." He pulls me onto his lap and places a longing kiss on my lips. "This is perfect. Thank you." My hands stroke the back of his head as we stare into each other's eyes. God, it was like I was addicted to him. "Are you ready for your present?" "Yes, please." He picks me up and walks us over to the wardrobes. "Good, cos I recommend we get changed for this one. It is located outside of our bedroom." How big was this present? "Oh, and I bought something to wear for today." He gestures at my wardrobes before heading to his. Curiously, I slowly open the doors. A white Christmas jumper with a snowman on it stares back at me. "Cute!" I coo over it. "It gets cuter." I turn to Colt - he had a matching jumper on. I couldn't help but chuckle. "We are that couple now." I proclaim. "I thought it could be a family tradition. We wear matching jumpers or outfits every Christmas - you, me, baby Ash, and any other pups we may have." "I haven't popped this one out yet and you are planning more." I strap a bra on before pulling the jumper on over the top, twirling in my mirror to admire it from every angle. "Well, if you want one then we can stick with one. I, personally, would like at least two." He chucks on a new pair of boxers before pulling on a black pair of jeans. "I was an only child so I always wondered what it would be like to have siblings - Austin, Naomi, Dan and Siobhan are the closest I had to that." I do the same before making my way towards him. "I guess I have similar experience as you. It will change now with me now having Jason, but I can see your point." "So, how many do you want?" "At the moment, three. But, who knows - may want more in the future?" "Well then, looks like baby Ash will have their hands full with little brothers and sisters." We finished getting ready and made our way to the room across from us. "Close your eyes." Colt came over and placed his hands over them to make sure I wasn't looking. I could hear the door being opened and feel myself being ushered through the door. "Ready?" I nod my head. "Tah-dah!" My eyes adjust before widening in shock. The room had been completely redecorated to become a nursery for baby Ash. My eyes swelled with tears as I looked at the cot, the cuddly toys and all the baby clothes hanging up. "Oh, Colt. It's amazing." I leap into his arms as I gush over the room. "Just giving us one less stress to worry about." I could feel kisses being planted on top of my head as we stayed in our embrace. We soon left and met up with the others for breakfast. Everyone was dressed up smartly for Christmas, but the kids looked especially cute - the twins were in matching Christmas jumpers, whereas Imogen was in a sparkly red dress. "Thank you all for agreeing to come to Christmas lunch with us. It means the world to me." I address the group as we finish off our plates. "We are family, Abby. We look out for each other." Naomi answers on behalf of the group, who all nod their heads in agreement. "Yeah, Abby our Auntie." Teagan cheekily smiles at me. I stick my tongue out at her playfully in response. "Thank you, Teagan. And, as your Auntie, there may be a present for you later." "And me!?" Tyson protests. "Yes, and you too." We tidy up our plates and start to make our way over to the cars, where we were greeted by Jason. We hug each other as normal before rejoining the group. We had not yet told the others about how we were siblings - we wanted to keep it as a surprise for the party later. For the group coming to the pub, it was all of the ranked members of White Crescent, myself and Jason. Adelaide had to work a shift but would be at the party later, so Clarke was running patrols to give the other warriors more time with their families whilst Maeve was helping Tina and Faye with prep for said party. My mum would be cooking the food at the pub, with our assistance, as it would just be us and... my dad... maybe. I still wasn't sure if he was coming or not. I would prefer it if he didn't. "We all know the situation with Abby' father." Colt addresses the group. "What situa-?" "Not now, you two." Austin shushes the twins so they wouldn't interrupt again. "But we are to be civil at this meal. Abby's mother is not aware of our existence so we need to be cautious. If he starts to play games then we will handle them accordingly. We will drive down and scope out the area before heading inside to make sure there are no surprises. Is that understood?" "Yes, Alpha." This made it sound like we were going to war. In a way, it would be if my dad was there. "Let's get moving." We hopped in a car with Jason whilst Dan, Siobhan and Imogen in one car, and Austin, Naomi, Teagan and Tyson went in another. The drive down was smooth sailing, but it didn't stop the nerves from building in my stomach. "It will be alright, Abby." Colt tries to provide some comfort as we arrive. The others already starting to scan the area as subtly as possible. "I hope so." Was all I could say before getting out of the car. Everyone gives each other a nod before heading inside. I wish we hadn't... Dad was there... and he wasn't alone. My mum came and greeted us all, as expected, before she turned us towards the group of people sitting with my dad. "Sorry for this, I was only made aware I had extra mouths to feed this morning." "It's alright, mum." It was not alright. They all had the emblem on them - either as a necklace, broach or on their coat sleeve. The emblem that I had been learning about quite recently what it's true meaning was. Dad had brought a group of Hunters to our family Christmas. I was right earlier- we were going to war.
