We had gotten to the venue some minutes before the meeting started. Mr Brown who is the head of business pitching was not present yet but we met his assistant who ushered us in showing us our seats for the meeting.
"You are welcome Miss Cruz, Mr. Hidalgo.”
“It's Mr. and Mrs Hidalgo.” Ares corrected before she could say anything further.
“I am sorry Mr Hidalgo.” She apologized immediately for the mispronunciation of the name. I could not help but stare at Ares and think of why he would do that but I know that was not the time to banter with him over that.
“It's okay.” He replied with a smile.
“I believe you are the representative Mr. Bruce sent as regards the business pitching right?" Linda said.
"Yes we are and thank you for the hospitality," I said smiling.
