“We start with getting you home and starting up your medication,” I said as the doctor moved close to us.
“Speaking of his medication Mrs Hidalgo, you…”
“Mrs. Hidalgo… Mrs. Hidalgo, that's my wife right there.” Ares said while smiling at me. And I know exactly what he was doing. He was trying to tease me again and get me to react to what he was saying.
“Your wife is a beautiful woman, you are so lucky to have her in your life. Congratulations once again on your wedding, I am sorry I could not make it. You know how the profession is and…” The doctor and I knew he was in for some long conversation which was exactly what Ares wanted.
A way to completely avoid the conversation about his medication and I knew I needed to do something about it right away.
