Ares POV
“When did you get in?” Ariana asked as I tucked myself in beside her after taking a shower.
“Just a while ago.” I replied as I inhaled her body scent. I needed just that, the day has been hectic enough and Valerie had just made the whole thing a lot more worse by making me more suspicious about the baby and all.
“I missed you.” She said sluggishly as she tucked herself very close to me. For a moment there, I just wished there was nobody coming in between us anymore. The world should just evolve around the both of us without no third party involved with the intention of making things a lot more difficult for us.
“I wished I had met you earlier in my life.” I whispered into her ears followed by a kiss.
“What did you say?” She asked and I could tell that she was sleep talking.
