It took me three days to realize that something was different about the pack. That something was off. When the elders announced that my father was stepping down, they were going to be in charge of running the pack until they could select the new alpha. I had stormed to my father’s house to see that he had not only moved, but the man wasn’t there. In fact, he’d sold the f*****g house.
Adeline was gone, and so was Rowan. I would have said yay, the pack is mine for the taking. But f**k, it isn’t. My girl is gone. I don’t know what happened to my brother, or my father. I’m all alone. So f*****g alone and I hate this so much.
