Of course, I wasn't seriously hurt. Sure, I'd sustained some injuries, but they looked far worse than they really were. I could guarantee that even a drama student couldn't pull off a performance like mine. I'd been through plenty of real injuries before, which was why I knew exactly how to play the part.
Even now, with a dislocated shoulder, I managed to pop it back into place with a straight face, leaving the doctor staring at me in shock.
