Annie’s POV
I wake on disoriented, on a cold damp floor, I’m completely soaked.
“Angel “ I’m met with complete silence, I can’t feel her presence, which means I’ve had Wolfbane.
I’m led in what I can only describe is a old dirty cage, maybe used for dogs or something.
I’m shivering against the cold, having no wolf means I’m completely human.
I can’t keep warm and I can’t recover from the wolfbane.
I try to sit up, but my body doesn’t really respond, I keep trying and trying and I give up.
I lay my head on the ground, curled in a ball when it happens.
It’s starts deep inside, burning pain that spreads like fire.
I’m struggling to breath against the pain.
I get short respites from the pain, ever so often.
