GREEN LIGHTS

1955 Words
It took Alex and Aggie a few hours to get to Luxville town, though it was way bigger than either of them anticipated, with the navigation aid in the car ,thanks to modern tech, it was easy to find their way through without having to ask for help.Alex was now the legal owner of his mothers van and his fathers old wagon station the two babies would come in handy on this quest but for now the van would do. Upon arrival, they knew exactly what their next move was.Searching for his old hood wasn't easy but they eventually found it.The house was now super old and thicket grew all around the place. In as much as he tried , he couldn't seem to remember anything about this place. They cleaned the old sitting room a bit and made it home cozy home. He set one side of the wall to hung the pictures he had taken from his fathers belongings and while he was busy pinning the photos on the wall with red, blue and yellow pins,he remembered how he had stumbled on the truth without even having to look hard. As his eighteenth birthday, his father had given him what looked like a toolbox and had made him promise to not open it until his twentieth birthday. He had then kept it in a hidden compartment on the floor under his bed.Almost four years later a month after his father succumbed to leukemia and his mother was killed, he would remember the box. He had always thought it was a toolbox and so he was never in a hurry to open it.For the first time he was eager to open it not because he soo much wanted to know its contents but because he missed his old man then more than ever. To his surprise , the box container research , apparently Mr Absalom was right Alex's parents never stopped searching for his sister, even though there was almost no evidence to show she was still alive, the most important thing for the moment was.In full details his father had researched on a group of people that identified themselves as the Green Light . They were known for offering assassinating services .They were especially famous in the legal and political fields where criminals , lawyers and advocates soo much hired them to clear their ways.George being one among their favorite customer. He had researched each of them, to his knowledge they were at least twenty but he could only find details about eighteen of them ,the other two simply seemed to be ghosts all the ever found about them was that they were the top dogs but no one seemed to ever have known or met them. The box even contained a few photos of them in different places at different times. This made Alex's job even easier. For now he knew he couldn't handle them since he was barely equipped with the right skills to confront such a gang. All he had was a few karate moves and little boxing skills that he had learn from his gym trainer. He knew those fellas had both skills and experience and so to match them he had to stay low, strike fast and be absolutely clever about it.Which is why they had to stop at a vets clinic on their way over. He remembered how he had gone through all their profiles including the one who was believed to be responsible for his parents and sisters deaths. As of then he knew he didn't have to go after him since in his few weeks research he had discovered that someone had killed him and his companions and George their master was facing a life imprisonment in one of the most secure prisons in the state. He was after a big game and that was to take out the group so more families out there don't end up with a somewhat sexy face ,kissed her took his bag and left."Remember what we alike his did. He was too busy remembering stuff that he never even noticed that Aggie had cleared the kitchen and set up the new cooker and few essentials they had bought on their way over. The kitchen was now very functional and Aggie was ready to prepare them something to eat.Alex's watch biped bringing him back from wonderland. It was time for his first move and he hoped it would go smooth."Are you sure you want to do this, coz if you are not we can just go back home and try and live normally,"Aggie asked."I was born ready and yep I am doing this," he answered, make sure its ready by the time I get back,"he shouted from the front door. The drive was a quiet one for Mark and Becky ,he did not want to talk about his night with milley and Becky didn't want to be the one to bring the subject up even though she was dying to know.He seemed cool and according to Becky he had the glow of a guy who had just taken a load off his weelll...All Mark wanted was to get back home rest about and go to the station and give the news to his boss and hopefully he would be convinced enough to put the case on the important cases file. Milley was on the other hand cooking a new plan to pursue the guys and learn about the two leaders she had been after for some time now getting them was the second phase of her grand plan and she wasn't ready to let her competitor get to the first. She had to figure out which one of them the other killer would go after next and it wasn't easy. She knew then she needed Mark to aid her on her search. Mark was startled by the phone ringing in his pocket. It was Milley suggesting to help with the case as a Civilian consultant .Mark soo much wanted to say no but it was Milley and besides there was Becky always whispering like the devil on his years making him do stuff he would never dare do.As usual when it came to this two ladies he always did the opposite of what he would with anybody else and so he said yes.It was going to a ride a crazy one to be precise and he was right in the middle. Alex walked into the K64 night club all shabby and confident .He came here for something or rather someone and he almost certainly knew he was here he had to be. Alex spotted him right at the corner in the VIP lounge Jake was a sophisticated one, from his swag to his taste in drinks. There he sat to a refreshing Paloma cocktail all care and worry free right up ahead was a cute lad on the dancing pole shaking what his mama gave as I said a sophisticated one.Alex knew just what to do and so as he walked toward him with his shirt half open, Alex dropped the careless walk and put on a seductive swag a smile from the corner of his mouth completed the trick.Jake was officially dazzled for a moment there he was completely swept away ,he wanted Alex at his side and he was even willing to get up and go for him. pleasantries were exchange and so did smiles. For a moment Alex had changed his mind a bit but then he had come too far to turn back, it was now or never. After about an hour which to Alex felt like eternity, Alex persuaded Jake to leave with him and Jake just obliged, his whole being was so into Alex that he couldn't stop himself.Outside, Alex sedated him and put him in the backseat of the van.He drove off. Aggie had just finished fixing a meal when she heard the van.She quickly prepared the arm chair and went out to help Alex.Out Alex was busy dragging Jake from the van he was much heavier than he looked.Together they strapped him on the chair ate dinner quietly and waited for him to wake up.Back in the police station Becky and Mark had already started tracing the g**g and Milley was halfway across the state to Luxville. Jake came to almost three hours later to find himself tied up.He was not all that surprised he had been in situations like that before."Untie me you crazy bustard," he shouted" Do you know who you are messing with. You know I had started to like you but now i so gonna kill you," he continued. In return, Alex just sat on a chair opposite to him staring at him wondering what was going through his mind. He decided to use a less conflict involved methods to get him to talk and he began by narrating his story.soughting sympathy and hoping Jake would decide to talk but he just laughed at him in return.Alex got angry and took out the tools he had put together for torturing if need be.After endless t*****e Jake finally cracked. He explained how orders came from some guys they had never seen or met. They were just there to be sent to do whatever job came up they got paid no questions asked. Alex wanted to know why they had killed his mother and Jake's answer to that was just that she knew too much .As for why they had chosen him back in school Jake claimed to have no idea.Alex close yet as far as he ever could be to the truth.Jake however told him that in the group of eighteen people only two had ever met with the bosses eye to eye and unfortunately he was not one of them. At this point Jake asked Alex what he was gonna do to him and Alex realized he had no idea what to do next. However he knew if he let him go he was gonna kill him and Aggie. He realized the only choice he had was to kill him or give him up to the police. The second option was tricky since if they called the police he would have to explain a lot of things and he wouldn't want that there was also the possibility of Jake telling the g**g about and drawing much more attention than he needed. He knew what had to be done. Now killing a person isn't as easy as it sounds or looks in the movies.first there is the thought of taking someone's life.It is as scary as it is wrong and have I mentioned that a human being have about 10 pints of blood, that is a lot of blood. What was Alex gonna do.Killing in self defense is one thing but killing to silence someone, totally different thing.Alex sat there for a while doing some impossible calculation. Finally he ha the perfect method strangulation but just so as not to make his hands dirty,he put a polythene paper on his head and watched him die of suffocation it was inhumane but he did it anyway. A few days later the body would be found at the banks of river Malanda and by the Alex and Aggie would have been long gone and into their next mission. Green Light squad had by now realized someone was onto the and were concocting a plan to stop whoever it was. What they had no idea of was that it wasn't just one person but two and the whole police department.Lieutenant Johns had given the case first priority and Mark was now more than ever motivated to solve the case, milley was now helping the police research even though she had a completely different agenda and plan.A green light had been shown and it only meant one thing. It was go time.
