LAST STOP

Mark was chewing his pen noisly he had gone through all the details top to bottom but something just felt off.He was avoiding asking anyone for help because he feared it was one of his co workers and he didn't know who exactly which gave him a bad case of trust issues.

Milley had left a week earlier to some sort of a vacation which she didn't bother to explain and Mark understood.He was still thinking about her but he tried his best not to be distracted .After going through all his possible theories with no success, Mark walked out of the station and into his apartment feeling lost and confused.The breakthrough had to be somewhere in the back of his head he just had to look closely enough.

At home he tried watching TV this was the last thing he usually deed after a hard day at work.He turned on the TV and was ready to watch one of his long awaited episodes of Supernatural when something came over him instead of watching it he found himself watching the recordings of last weeks CCTV camera.He missed Milley too much and he knew how to make it better was to watch their best moments together.

He had been watching it for hours when he noticed that something was missing.One minute they were both asleep and the next Milley was bringing him breakfast in bed.He also noticed a few missing hours on that days tape.

It didn't occur to him immediately but it sure did when he went to sleep.The missing record was right about the moment Tonnie was killed according to forensics.He first felt guilty for thinking that Milley could be the killer but then it all started to make sense.

He realized he met her just about the time he had his first breakthrough in the case. also she was the only one apart from his co workers who he always updated on the ongoings of the case.He had told her that Tonnie was being used as bait back then and that explained why the killer never showed.But again he thought Milley was soo soft , soo considerate to be a killer.

Could she have been helping the killer? Or maybe she was being blackmailed or threatened by the killer? What if her last call was code to tell Mark that she was in trouble? all those questions circled through Marks head or maybe she was the killer.It was the only thing that would make sense but Mark wasn't ready to take that for an answer.

His world was tearing apart and there was nothing he could have done to stop it from happening.He picked up his phone dialed Milleys number and to his surprise it went through he kind of expected it to go to voicemail.It rang and rang but no one picked .

Maybe milley was in trouble he concluded and prepared to search for her.Milley would pick up the phone latter and explain she was fine and a bit busy.Mark was then sure that Milley was no killer.
