Chapter 21
Lana’s POV It was just before sunrise as I reached the border. I knew I would be able to run faster in wolf form, but I could not chance losing what little items I had with me. We sat behind the tree line to look for an all clear. Border patrol passed by about four minutes ago. I did not know when the next border patrol would be by, but I had to make sure I was out of range from the last guy. Now’s the time Lana. If we are going to leave then it must be right now. I took Echo’s advice and dashed for the pack’s border. It was harder this time to pass through over the border. Something kept pushing me back like a magical boundary. I pushed with all my might to keep pushing forward. After a few second, I was able to pass over the line. I took a second put my hands on my knees as I panted
