With the night of Nicks next fight fast approaching, he stuck to himself and Aree, mostly training and having wild, passionate s*x with her as often as possible to keep his mind focused. “You sure you’re doing alright?” Coach Gerard asked. Gerard was around 50 years old with a muscular build for that of an older man. He was always concerned about nicks well-being since he found him sleeping in his gym one night after class as a teen. “I’m fine Gerard,” he said sternly not taking his eyes away from the punching bag. Gerard’s eyes widened as he stared at Nick. “I think we need to talk,” Gerard said. “Let’s sit down for a minute huh? What’s on your mind?” Nick stopped and rolled his eyes. He walked over to where Gerard was sitting taking off his boxing gloves. “I’m just preparing for this fight you know,” he lied. “I’m getting my ten fight streak and me and Aree are going to California,” he told Gerard. “Mhm,” he said rubbing his chin. “Is that all?” Coach Gerard could always see through Nicks tough act. It worked on his opponents but not Coach Gerard. “I still think it’s dirty business, you fighting at this casino,” Gerard said. He was never one to hold his tongue and when it came to those he cares about, Gerard gives a new meaning to the phrase ‘tough love’. “I know the guy you work for and he’s bad news,” Nick already knew this. He had done some of the Boss’ dirty deeds a time or two back in the day when he was desperate for money. “I get it Coach. This is only temporary just trust me,” he assured him. Nicks phone lit up as Arees name flashed across the screen. He smiled at his phone as he began walking towards the showers. “Guess you’re done for the day then?” Gerard called out to him. Nick nodded and waved as he kept walking towards the back to clean up and head home. He couldn’t wait to see Aree and make her moan with desire. Images of her naked body writhing in pleasure had been flashing in his mind all day and he was ready to taste her.
Aree hung up after speaking with Nick about dinner plans. They decided to have dinner at an exclusive bar meant only for fighters called the ‘Dojo Dragon’. Aree always thought the name was silly but the food was amazing and the atmosphere was always pleasant. She excitedly pulled into the drive after a day of shopping with one of Nicks many credit cards. She walked into their huge living room shuffling all her shopping bags around. Once she settled in, she prepared herself a tall glass of wine. Sometimes being with a professional heavyweight boxer had its challenges. Often when they would go out she would get some nasty stares from other women who were deemed more suitable to be in Nicks arms. She pushed those thoughts aside as she swallowed the last bit of red wine savoring every drop. Aree couldn’t wait for Nick to see the new dresses she picked out for the evening.
Nick didn’t tell Aree that the stare down for the fight was at the bar he was taking her to mostly because he knew she would be upset. Aree was uncomfortable around large crowds, but he needed her by his side that night. Nick stopped to get flowers on the way home in preparation for their date. As he stood in line at the store he noticed fight posters with his face on it posted in a few places around the building. Nick knew all eyes were on him including the boss. He had to figure out how he would be able to throw a fight of this caliber. Nick brushed off those thoughts and paid for his things. It was getting darker as the sun set and darkness claimed the skies.
Nick walked inside to find Aree sitting at the bar in a short pink silk dress. She had on rose gold earrings that dangled against her slender neck and rose pink shoes with a small puff on the top. Her hair was been straightened so it reached down to her shoulders with a black silky smooth finish. She stood up and smiled at him drink in hand. Nick couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked. He couldn’t stop himself from staring at her in amazement. “What is it?” She giggled nervously. Nick pulled her in, giving her a warm hug and kissing her soft lips delicately. “You look so beautiful. I don’t want to mess up your makeup,” he said. “I don’t mind,” she responded. He leaned down and kissed her again, “Perhaps later,” he said. Nick gave her the flowers as he opened the front door and they left for the bar.
