ONCE DINNER IS UNDERWAY, all of the adults, plus Vic and Claudia in their high chairs, are seated around the big table in the dining room. The other children are at a card table in the kitchen, totally happy to be the cool kids and not deal with the boring adults talking about boring adult things.
While Alex is still not thrilled about this entire gathering, at least now that there’s food happening he can content himself with being quiet as he listens to other people’s conversations.
