4 AN HOUR AND A HALF into a meeting in one of the studio’s conference rooms, Gemma runs a hand through her hair. She has to restrain herself from grabbing it and screaming in frustration. Back when Liam first started making noise about Scism, Gemma was the one who lured him in to the studio. Since then, she’s been the point person trying to coordinate all the moving parts necessary to move Scism into production and broadcast. However, the history of vague friendship and personal connections between them that made that possible — and seem like a good idea at the time — is now having the exact opposite impact.
