THE NEXT DAY FOR ALEX is one of catching up on messages from his manager Margaret, his agent Vanessa, and other important people he should get back in touch with. He doesn’t have to be anywhere but at Paul’s desk in his basement office with Claudia in the playpen next to him. Still, the effort of filling in his schedule and composing cogent replies to emails is draining.
At six, carrying Claudia, he walks over to Liam and Carly’s house to pick up Vic and Ali. He’s exhausted, but he’s missed his other kids desperately. And Carly and Liam definitely deserve a break.
