THE NEXT DAY ALI HAS a dance recital. Liam takes her there early so she can get ready. Paul and Carly are going to the venue once they get out of work; Alex is supposed to join them just as the recital starts. Meanwhile, Risa, Carly’s long-term girlfriend, is watching Vic and Claudia for the evening.
The arrangements are the kind of logistical headache that would be difficult to keep track of under any conditions. Trying to re-enter life in L.A. after a week in Indiana, Alex finds the constant back-and-forth emails working out the schedule unbearable. The constant reminders on the damn polyamory app Liam made him get are even worse, at least until he figures out how to silence them. He just wants someone to tell him where to be and when, and for that to be the end of it.
